Who is Buddy Rowe? (Corey Hill)

Just an FYI for those wondering what thats all about.
Corey must have some kind of military influence in his family, coaching, or something. In the Army there is a school that selected people go to called SERE training. It stands for Survive, Evade, Resist, and Escape. It teaches people that work behind enemy lines how to manage if they are comprimised. In part of the training you are secluded in a type of solitary confinement and as part of the instructional they teach you to cope with it by using an imaginary friend specifically named Buddy Rowe. So at some point someone who had some kind of influence upon Corey had taught him to cope with a streesful situation (like making wieght) by calling upon Buddy Rowe. I suspect it was probably a wrestling coach. So no Corey isnt crazy. He's just using an old technique to keep from becoming crazy.
BTW in SERE Buddy Rowe is your friend, and Murphy of Murphy's Law is your enemy, everyone else is just playing the game. Thats how its taught.

I guess we will never know but I would assume if he is doing this on tv that he would explain the technique or something, I mean maybe he didnt but I wouldn't put it past the Spike editors to edit Cory's explanation out so that he looks legitimately insane.LOL, these are the same guys who saw this street fight at the house as a good thing and pushed for the Noah/Marlon fight at the finale. I couldn't imagine what someone who doesnt check sites like this think of Corey, he looks to be crazy.

I think "Buddy Rowe" was Corey's inner alter ego. so both Corey Hll and Buddy Rowe got their asses chocked. Now it's time for Karo to chock Nate so we don't have to listen to that lisp of his anymore.

I didnt know that about that technique but I never thought Corey was crazy. As someone whose had to cut weight I saw it as a pretty good idea to stay where you need to be mentally.

Ok a little more on it. Buddy Rowe is also known as "Your buddy on death row". Yeah Coreys explaination sounds insane. But look at it this way. When your in a situation like trying to make wieght you are your own best friend or worst enemy. So by giving yourself an alter ego like buddy rowe and putting the stress on him you can do like Corey did and try to motivate your alter ego to lose the wieght instead of yourself. Its a psychological game that some good coach or family member taught Corey. I am sure its very helpful to him. Its been equated to meditation. Has the same effect. Give you an inner peace. Now if Corey trips and falls I wouldnt be suprised if he yelled "Damnit Murphy" or something like that. Buddy Rowe is your gaurdian angel and Murphy is your Demon.

SERE?
Well its a school where pilots, special forces, delta force, and some Recon have to go through. Others can go through it voluntarily. They will take you through a little familiarization then you get ambushed and they want you to try to avoid being captured. But you will get caught (everyone does). After they capture you, you get thrown into a mock POW camp and get treated like a prisoner of war. During the day you attend classes about what you should do to survive, evade, resist capture, and escape if your caught. At night its just you and your Buddy Rowe in a 8 by 4 cell with a bucket to piss in. If you cooperate they give you things like a sleeping mat, blanket, extra food, and stuff. But thats all part of the training. Survival is mostly about what you would expect. But its how to survive before being captured and during your capture. Evade is like how to avoid detection and avoid being captured. Resist is a lot of interogation, navigation, camoflauge, hand to hand combat, improvised weapons and things like that. Escape is self explainitory. The instructors really do treat you like your a prisoner. About half of the people dont complete the course on the first try. Some never do. There alot of mind games and its takes alot of self discipline to make it.
