Who is Mark DellaGrotte
On TUF 4 Mark DellaGrotte is going to help George St. Pierre and Randy Couture train the fighters. This man is not a fighter for the UFC but the lead instructor and owner of the Sityodtong USA branch. This particular camp is very heavy in teaching Mauy Thai boxing. DelleGrotte fought here in the US and Thailand but thier is no record of him fighting in the UFC (It's possible it could happen soon). He trained TUF fighters like Sam Hoger, Jorge Rivera, Stephan Bonnar, and Kenny Florian in Mauy Thai. It should be interesting in getting to know this man during the course of the show!

I agree. When seeing the first episode I was suprised how little they showed coaching of GSP and Couture. I have a feeling there roles will be rather tiny. These guys already know what I takes to win even though some of them suck so I figure they'll be to cocky to take advise from coaches.

If this guy is as good as you say, then the UFC should hire him. The middleweight division needs some new talent in a bad way and Rich needs some real compitition. I'm sorry but Chris Leban is not going to cut it.

Mark's a great guy and an incredible trainer. My cousin has known him for years and he and my brother are both training with Mark. A lot of people have asked him about competitive MMA fighting, but he likes focusing on training fighters.

I know that this is going to sound weird, but I think Dellagrotte would smash Franklin. I was really excited to see how Rich would do against a fantastic Thai boxer, but he proved that he's not really at that level.
In reality, Dellagrotte's standup may be better than Anderson's, but that would be one helluva match. I think Anderson would take him down and tap him out pretty easily, but both of these guys have sick Thai skills.
