I recommend that you watch Tapout if you want a true show about how the MMA world works. TUF is a show where these guys are put in to a house and pretty much destroy everything in it because they go insane. And then in between, you see some good fights here and there and some training. It's all a bunch of drama.
Tapout is a good show with really good quality fighters and you can catch it on Versus Network or Showtime!

I would rather chug a liter of Liquid Drano while setting my hair on fire than watch that horrible show. I get what you mean about how it's more realistic, because it is, but I just can't get passed those 3 idiots with thier silly costumes and makeup. The way the mask guy talks is so unnatural, he is just do friggin annoying. I have tried to sit through an entire episode 2 times and contemplated suicide half way through.

It's a good show just on the reality show entertainment basis alone, and then add in that it's about the UFC and it's all around kickass
It's ******* hilarious seeing cans like Andy Wang and Gabe Ruediger do stupid ass shit, both those dudes pretty much got episodes devoted to them last season haha.

I don't really like tapout because of skyskrape and mask and that other guy. I just like it because it showcases better fighters, better training methods and better fights too. Just as of late TUF has been catching my eye because they aren't just picking up regular joes off the street.
For the longest time it pissed me off seeing these no-name guys come on the show and just take up the fame. When there are guys like me fighting indepedently and thousands of others that could be on the show but because we aren't "dramatical" enough then they don't cast us.
At the same time, it's our faults for not taking the time out of our busy as hell schedule to make audition tapes. But I thought UFC would be more like TapouT and come down to different shows through out the country and pick up their fighters that way?
But yeah, back to the main point. Tapout will give you a better understanding of how MMA works as a business and as a fighter and who to go to for good promotion and exposure (if you're a fighter or want to become one.) Ultimate Fighter is for those 12 year old boys that watch one episode of that show, and automatically they know shit.
Pick your poison.

12 year old boys? Whatever. That's stupid.
Basically as an MMA fan I don't see how other MMA fans wouldn't enjoy TUF, unless maybe youre an elitist like this guy haha.

I'm not an elitist, I just have a different opinion than you do. But really all I'm doing is backing up by facts the differences of both shows. Take any fighter that TapouT chooses to sponsor on their show, and get them to fight any guy on TUF in the right weight class, the TapouT guy will win.
