Yeah dude...I wasn't trying to provoke anything. I just meant he put's himself out there with comments like that(the cussing). it's just really obviious. If you fight as a carreer fine...just try not to mix personal beliefs/moral standards with your job. If he really felt that he couldn't let his kids watch ufc...then he would not work with Dana White.

(sorry, noticed someone already mentioned this after I posted)
Actually if he did his homework, then he would realize that the hands of Christianity are stained with an unimaginable amount of blood. Violence, slavery, sexism are all condoned in the bible.
[Leviticus, chapter 20]
[Exodus, chapter 21]
[1 Timothy, chapter 2]

All old testament I believe. Also all done in the name of god. The words were written were by man not "god" himself. Much blood spilt in the name of god, I agree. Theology does not condone the acts of thousands of years ago. It takes chapters and applies them to modern life. Not one church (short of the extreme ones) would condone violence, sexism, slavery in modern times.

Hahaha. Agreed, 100%.
I agree with Matt Hughes too, if you're going to be the champion representing your sport, and having kids look up to you and what not, than you should act with some professionalism and a level of decorum. Unfortunately, it's not so simple as that, as a good amount of the fighters are of the mindset or of a background that is less than civil. Think of it like the military: You know they swear and can at times act like a bunch of maniacs(I know this from personal experience, heh) when out of the public eye, but in public they are expected to act professional.
Dana likes to be the center of attention, and for all his efforts to make the sport legit, and bring it into the mainstream, I sometimes think he suffers from coprolalia(compulsive swearing), as his swearing seems to run counter to the ideas that he's always trying to impress upon others, that they aren't just a bunch of frat boys beating each other and getting wild.

Competiton breeds emotional extremes. There is probably not too many athletes out there that have never swore. It's part of the game, I guess you could say. Dana White uses cuss words often like an exclamation point on his statments. I'm sure the t.v. Dana we see is a bit more animated than the Dana that talks to the NSAC and corporate sponsors. While not appropriate all the time, it's a fact of life and no youth is immune to hearing it. Does it make the UFC seem dumber/classless? Depends on one's tolerance i guess?

I don't see what the big problem with cussing is, I never have.

It's questionable whether he's in the top few welterweights in the world, but he does not "suck shit", he's an excellent BJJ fighter who has rounded out his striking game to the point where he was able to KO GSP.
