What's the point...
whats the point in having so many bad fighters on each season?
i understand some will be better than others, but where are they getting these guys that have little or no experience? wouldn't the show be more exciting and more competitive if they filled each season with guys of similar skill level (high skill levels of course, show would suck if all the fighters were noobs).
i dunno... I just think this show has more potential.

It's a lot different with 16 dudes then 8 because the top guy is SO much better then the worst and that's the biggest difference from the old TUF.
Wait till the top 8 & 4, I can see some good fights coming out of this season.

yeah, but i shouldnt have to watch 12 fights to see 4 good ones. every fight should be good. they need to stop letting the weaker guys onto the show unless they have some proof of their skills, like fight footage or an impressive or at least notable win record.

Which is why Season 1 was the best season, there were only a few stinkers.

Totally agree, I was going to make a similar thread but you beat me to it. I just don't get why they put all these noobs in the house, I mean come on Blake couldn't even do pushups or lift any weight. When he was in the octagon, he has the build of a child and fought like one as well. But I mean its not his fault, respect to him for doing what he wants to do. It's really a problem with management and selection, why bother having a show if you influence the outcome by having all these dud fighters mixed in with people with experience like Mac Danzig.

you'd think they'd make more money and certainly get more viewers if they had a lineup of fighters who all had some experience and were there to win it.
i think the next TUF should be made up of guys from previous seasons who were eliminated in either finals or semi-finals. at least then we'd be assured of getting guys who have some clue as to how its going to work and have some reasonable level of skill.

I hear ya. With all the talent starting to pop up in all the different organizations (Hardcore Championship Fighting, King of the Cage, Bodogfight etc.) they continue to pick guys who are 0-0, 1-0, 2-0 or whatever. It's ridiculous, and I can't understand why they do this. I'd rather see better fights than 45 minutes of drama bullshit with Joe Scarola.

well, it may have to do with the fact that some of the fighters are probably picked for their personalities over their skills. TUF is a reality show and they need some 'unique' characters to create 'drama'. plus, there may be some more experienced fighters that turn TUF down because they don't want to be labeled 'up and comers'. just a thought, though.
