It looks like things get heated between UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw on The Ultimate Fighter 25: Redemption.

It looks like things are going to get physical between new bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt and TJ Dillashaw on the upcoming season of The Ultimate Fighter: “Redemption.”

A screenshot taken from a new promotional video for the 25th season of the UFC reality show that aired during UFC 209 seems to display Garbrandt grabbing Dillashaw violently by the neck, pushing him backwards. Just to add a little extra flavor to the image, Julian Lane of "Let me bang, bro!" fame can be seen in the background smiling.

Who knows what led up to the altercation, but Dillashaw has been persona non grata over at Garbrandt's Team Alpha Male camp since leaving with striking coach Duane Ludwig to start Elevation Fight Team back at the end of 2015. For several months Dillashaw tried to play off the split as amicable, but as time went on more Team Alpha Male fighters spoke out dissing the former bantamweight champion. Cody went so far as to call TJ a snake and a cancer and claimed he had video footage showing him knocking Dillashaw out during training.

It's all rather unusual behavior from a camp that is typically known for its shirts off bro love environment, fostered by team leader Urijah Faber. Some even suspected it might all be part of a fake feud designed to sell wolf tickets. We’ll let you decide whether Garbrandt throttling Dillashaw on The Ultimate Fighter is just the latest part of this well executed conspiracy.

Season 25 of The Ultimate Fighter is dubbed "Redemption" and features Garbrandt and Dillashaw as coaches and an interesting cast of former TUF contestants seeking a second chance in the UFC. Standout fighters include Joe Stevenson, Jesse Taylor, James Krause, and Ramsey Nijem. It premieres on April 19th on FOX Sports 1.

Probably at the end of the show. Cody Gabrandt is one of those guys who isn't afraid to say things how it is and not play the political game. This is what's going on here and I hope he's smart enough not to pick Jesse Taylor considering the fact that he and Dillashaw were teammates at Cal State Fullerton.

I don't think their are that many alternates to Taylor talent wise...looking at the field of 14 guys my top

two rounds would be

RD 1 Taylor and Krause
RD 2 Gordon and Baghdad

RD 3 Nijem and Hassan
RD 4 Baczynski and Edwards
RD 5 Lima and Gallicchio

RD 6 Urbina and Smith
RD 7 Lane and Stevenson

I'm just saying that if I in Cody's place I would not pick Taylor. Coming from a college wrestling background I know team loyalties go deep so Taylor is still going to have loyalty to TJ as a former teammate. You don't want something like that undermining one's own team.

I also think Taylor should win this show, he's always had potential to be very good. I think TJ beats Cody in the finale but we will see. Found out Dom has been suffering from plantar fascia which I've had so that explains his lack of movement in the Cody fight.

He moved plenty in the Cody fight. Cody just didn't chase him around at all. Every time Cody chased it looked like every other Cruz fight, with a few exceptions. Cody drew him in the whole fight and waited for his spots and used superior boxing to beat the **** out of Cruz. It doesn't mean Cruz can't make changes, but no injury was the reason he lost to Cody.

TJ makes a lot of the same mistakes he's always made, if Cody sets it up and is patient, he'll put TJ to sleep. The Ludwig striking stuff has lost the shine it had originally. Not to mention most of what he does has been going on in boxing for years, all the shifting and side steps and turns are things you need just to box in the amateurs. Having said that, I could see TJ walking Cody into a head kick and getting his Cruz rematch.

Considering how much damage that Cruz has taken to his legs plantar fascia sounds like the latest sympton in a string of injuries. Honestly I could see Cody walking away with the victory considering the fact that he made Cruz look easy and Cruz moved around pretty easily.

It was also nice to see him finally get that redemption win and finally win the show like he should've in season seven. Jesse Taylor is the physical embodiment of the season cause almost everyone else got some time in the UFC while Taylor's long time outside of the UFC can be traced back to that screw up. It took a while but he finally got his shot.
