I voted yes, because it was the closest option for me.

I think the fight was split even, but I don't think it was a clear win for Dan in round one. He dominated early, but got arm bared, countered, the rest of hist punches weren't landing solid and the other guy did good damage.

I would have scored it for Dan, but I don't think it was clear from what was shown on TV that it was CERTAINLY his in a 10-9 round.

Both Serra and Dana agreed that there should have been a third round. Dana himself declared it terrible judging. If two MMA fighters and the President of an MMA organization felt that the judging was piss poor, then who in the hell am I to disagree? lol.

I personally saw round 1 going to Dan 10-9. If he would have done something besides punch at Ben's feet when he had him down (I don't know like maybe LET HIM UP?) then maybe it could have been 10-8

I saw the second round 10-8 for Ben, just because of the clinic of striking and Dan's running away. If he wouldn't have ran then I might of seen things differently.

I don't get Hughes' reaction, it was pretty unprofessional to challenge the integrity and skill of the judges. Still, yet again the 10 point must system causes controversy in an MMA contest.

i voted no because when the president of the organization says the judging was "horrible", there's obviously something wrong... it's be sort of like david stern saying the officating was horrible after an NBA game (which it usually is)...

I think the first round was Dan's and the second Ben's, but I was thinking Dan was being pretty one-dimensional and unexciting to just stand there and run the clock (which is what it looked like to me) rather than either let Ben up or try to engage on the ground. I think Dan assumed he was winning after knocking Ben down and rather than risk that changing, tried to run out the clock. It looked bad. I think that's what pissed off the judges who voted to give it to Ben. Then Ben really dominated the 2nd. Looking at the whole fight as a single round, I would score that 10-minute round 10-9 for Ben, so actually in that sense I do agree with the judges overall, even though I voted no because I thought how could they give the first round to Ben looking only at that round. But again, Dan running the clock cost him the fight.

i think the judging should be done by fighters only.
im sure there are plenty of fighters out there that could do whatever is necessary to get the credentials to ocassionally judge a match or two.
this way the judges will understand everything that is going on and there wont be as many bad decisions or undeserved losses.
