The judges know Dan quit

I can not believe no one picked up on Dan when he quit. He ran behind the REf and stopped the fight. The Ref thought he quit and had to ask him three times. Only after he got some rest did he say he wanted to continue. I was pissed when that fight started back up cause the guy was done and he even said Im done. Then Dana turns around and gives him 5 grand. Thats a bunch of B.S. Everyone is saying the judges screwed up but they know he quit and did the right thing.

Did anyone else hear him say Im done.

good point, while i dont remember him saying "im done", he definately wanted to quit during that stoppage it seemed like the ref had to coax him into fighting by asking him so many times, i thought it was over at that point as well... but the fight continued and as a whole i still see it as a draw.

That is not what happend. He was circling away because he couldn't see. He couldn't see because he had blood in his eyes. Herb Dean asked if he could see, Berrera knew that if he said no the fight was in danger of being stopped. He took a chance and said no, Herb Dean asked if he wanted to continue and he said yes. The end.

Yeah, I think he was probably debating continuing at one point...perhaps freaked out a bit by his own blood but I gotta say I like Dan Barerra more now than I did before. Although he is a bit crazy, I like the way he thinks. I think the only he is lacking is a well rounded game...his head is all "fighter."

O.K then tell me this. Since when does a fighter stop the fight. No one can tell me Herb Dean stopped that fight. Dan made it clear he wanted to stop the fight
cause of the blood. I could swear he said Im done,

O.K All you guys can watch that fight as many times as you want but when the fighter askes for the fight to stop its over. Dan stopped the fight. Watch the tape. Herb Dean only did what Dan asked him to. He kept stalling and pointing to his face untill the Ref had to ask him do you want to fight. Count how long he took before it started back up. He got to rest at the other fighters expense. Since when does he get to stop the fight. He quit

I totally thought he quite to. I didnt here im done but when ref asked if he wanted to fight he pointed to his face saying he can do it because of that but doesnt want to just say it. But then his team was yelling at him and he looked over at them then after that he agreed to go on. I felt he got pressured, I saw some fear in his eyes after he went back in. But then after the match he's all like I wouldve done a third round. If there was a third he wouldve got knocked out quick. Ben was only getting better with his game as the match went on.

At first i thought it was because he couldn't see, but looking at his face and eyes there was no blood in his eyes, it was all running down his nose. IMO he just wanted to quit.

I just watched the fight about 5 minutes ago, and I also saw Dan quit the fight. Herb Dean actually waved off Saunders and the judges with both arms, signifying the fight's over. Then Dean changes his mind and asks Dan again, you wanna fight? And Dan decides he wants to fight.

I have been pulling for Dan since the beginning, so I am speaking objectively here. I actually called this match-up a while ago on another thread, saying it was a sure fight for Dan. Ben proved me wrong, and I have to say I was disappointed in Dan's performance. I wonder if Dan actually lost a point for standing above Ben so long, not doing anything. He slapped Ben's foot a couple times, but he wasted a lot of time. I'd call that borderline timidity, which a fighter can be penalized for. I was really hoping for a third round, but I can see how Ben won both of them. Also, Dan claimed he couldn't see, which is practically calling the fight.

but i really wanna know is why dude was so afraid to initiate the ground game against ben.
