I have tons of respect for Serra for his stand against Laimon. Serra made his point, and he even showed respect toward Hughes. I can't blame him for what he said. Laimon was disrespecting Royce Gracie. Serra is a black belt under the Gracies. If Laimon disrespects Gracie as a fighter, he definitely disrespects Serra at the same time. That's how I'd feel in his shoes, anyway.
There are two things here that I really liked to see from Serra: He stood his ground against Laimon, made his point and did not go too far with it. Also, he showed Hughes respect for beating Royce.
IMO, that shows a lot of Serra's character.
