I thought the challenges really added something to the show and to the strategy involved in determining who fights who. My favorite was when rich franklin forfeited the challenge where one fighter had to move around another fighter without touching the ground- and joe stevenson and mike whitehead nearly killed themselves in the attempt... classic.
I just think it would be better to have the challenges back instead of 80% of the show being footage of the fighters being retards, or whining or what have you.
Anyone with me?
Against me?
Let's hear it.

I have a feeling its not going to be a very popular opinion, but I have to agree with you.
Yes, the show should be about the fighters and the fights, and challenges make it seem like any other reality TV show. But it IS a reality TV show, and the drama they use to fill up the time they used to dedicate to challenges hurts the sport. The challenges are neutral at worst.
I really like the challenges that are relevant to the sport, like the one you mentioned. It breaks the episodes up.
Speaking of the devil... I've been watching season 2. The challenge with Whitehead and Stevenson is an amazing feat. BTW, I saw Mike Whitehead at NAGA Las Vegas this last weekend. He was coaching one of the teams. Also saw Frank Trigg!
