I respect that. Very logical. But hatred? Come, now. Can we not agree that that might be a tad much?

OK, I admit that "hatered" is not the best way to put it. Extreme dislike?
I was just at UFC 77 and I went out of my way not to talk to him or have any pictures with him.
And I used to be a HUGE Matt Hughes fan. I might dislike him more then most because I was a big fan and I found out how he really is as a person. It was disappointing to say the least.

People have just as much right to hate a man they don't know as you have to like a man you don't know.
Either way, who cares honestly.
Hughes needs to chill on the "My kid won't watch it cuz of Matt Serra" whatever. Dana's 4 minute F bomb tirade wouldn't offend his kid? Or the fact that it's FIGHTING?
Hughes is a douchebag, it's been reported by other fighters, and it's coming out in the show. So what? Who cares if he is one? Doesn't take away that he is a great fighter.
You don't have to like someone for them to be a great fighter. In fact, liking them shouldn't matter at all really. Look at the shit Tim Sylvia gets.
Hating Hughes is no different than saying GSP is a nice guy. You don't know either of them really, so who cares?

I just find it funny that every time Hughes says something about Matt Serra cussing and the fact that he doesnt like that, at some point in time after that, Dana shows up to talk to him and just goes F*** this and F*** that, and beat the s*** out of them. LOL, and Hughes never complains about that.
I just think that he tries to come up with a reason to hate Matt Serra, cuz if he couldn't attack Serra's character, the only other reason Hughes would have to "hate" Serra would be that he doesn't feel he is "Top 5 Material."

It's just the way people are, to constantly judge people on T.V., such as celebrities by what you see of them on T.V. or read. However, some people take more crap than others (i.e. Hughes). The guy can do no right to some people. We're all human. I'd like to see some of you on T.V. and let's see how well you behave under any given circumstance.
I'm not saying Hughes is right or wrong. He's clearly suffering from a lot of frustration. As a competitive person, it's his desire to win. And as a Coach, he wants to teach and bring the most out of these guys. If they aren't listening to him and if he feels they aren't going out there giving it their all, I can see how that might wear someone thin after a while.

I think Hughes is used to training at MFS where the fighters there that he trains with are top notch fighters with phenomenal work ethic. The guys he's training on the show are rookies who know that just by being on the show, they are going to get fights in the UFC and don't try as hard as they did in the first couple TUF's.
It also doesn't help with that retard Serra and his annoying ass voice digging in him every time something bad happens to his team. It just sucks when the retards team is winning.
Personally, I understand Hughes frustration. The fighters, for the most part, aren't listening the gameplan or instructions he's given them. But then again, how could you when Serra is yelling as loud as F***ing possible all the time. I know I can't concentrate during it and I'm only watching the show.

Hughes is an idiot and a horrible coach. He always says "Oh they don't listen to me wah wah wah ." When, if you pay attention during fights, you barely hear him coach at all...and in the J-Rock fight I did not hear him at all. I hope Serra retires his arrogant ass.

It didn't matter in the J-Rock fight. Matt Serra knew it, Matt Hughes knew it and George knew it. J-Rock is just not that good. Matt Serra baisically hit it right on the head "that tough guy act isn't going to show up in the cage".
J-Rock was scared and wouldn't let his hands go. How can you coach that? Hughes is not an idiot or a horrible coach. J-Rocks reaction to losing was way over the top too. Throwing stuff around and crying about it after you baisically walked in the cage and didn't really fight then got KO'd is just pathetic. At least Andy Wang tried to fight before acting like a tool.

I've gotta laugh at the people who are saying it's Serra's fault that Hughes' team are doing badly.
