I think Serra handled the cornering poorly, but it wasn't enough for me to dislike him about.

I think talk about him being "unprofessional" is blown out of proportion.

1) His profession is beating people up
2) His opposite coach has ripped his abilities to do his job, and no one blinks at that, but in any other profession that would be the height of being unprofessional.
3) The corporate face of the UFC thinks being professional means being able to use the "F" word as every part of speach in a sentence.

I love Serra, hes down to earth. Matt Huges always has that retardad smirk, always saying his fighters dont want to fight, etc and just being a prick in general. I cant stand Matt Hughes I hope GSP knocks him off his stool again.

I hate to say it, but yes. I haven't been a Hughes fan for some time and so gravitated to Serra. But what the producers have chosen to display of Serra on the series has definetly colored my perception of him. His potrayal is certainly annoying and obnoxious. Smack talking is ok, but to demonstrate class, smack-talk should be done in moderation (which it isn't).

Although that doesn't make me side with Hughes (who is much too arrogant and full of himself for me), I would have really liked to see if Serra could back up what his mouth says. We'll likely never know. . .

I thought it was funny when I heard Serra talk trash on Hughes but at some point it got old. I think that Serra is a good coach and I like how treats the fighters on the show. I like how he pats the losing fighter on the back and reinforces the good aspects of competition. I haven't lost respect for Serra yet, but his constant rants about Hughes are tired. Give it a rest already.

Matt Serra is a complete loud mouthed idiot. Hes just mad that he looks like that turtle off the old bugs bunny cartoons that would always race Bugs Bunny.

I find it funny how he all of a sudden thinks he is the best fighter ever. Lets put this in perspective Serra:

1) You were out of the UFC until TUF came along
2) You lost to Shonie Carter
3) You are the bigger prick than Matt Hughes talking trash to him any chance you get, and most the time it isnt even funny.
4) Matt Hughes is 10x's the fighter you are or ever will be.
5) How long was he champ and defend the belt? ok sit down and shut up.

Both Matt's are tools in there own ways though I think I sympathize with Hughes a bit more just because Serra does talk a lot of shit. But in teh end so does hughes, I dotn really care because I like them both I find Serra hillarious and Hughes annoying though I still like HUghes as a fighter and a person better than I do Serra. Meh...

I have never respected serra. he came into the WW division and thinks that he is the best, when look at how long hughes held that title.

I thought it was funny when dana said "Matt Hughes is the most dominant WW of this time" or somethign along those lines when serra didnt want hughes to corner his guys.

And I agree; As much as Hughes comes off as a cocky guy, he earns his place. Serra comes off as a little bitch.. and good luck for his bitch ass that he gets to duck the ass whoopin of his lifetime.
