Altho I can see why some people think its mac that leaves.. because of the replacement ( I dont want to say who it is, for those that dont want it spoiled ).. ok I just realized I cant finish my post withotu saying who it is again.. so if you dont want it spoiled dont read the rest of this

alright.. since john is the replacement, it could make sense that he gets to comeback if mac leaves, since he was the last person to fight mac and he also was the only one that wanted to fight mac.
altho mac writing his blog really blows my mind.. pretty much completely rules out mac as the guy that leaves for me.. but who knows

Meh i guess i just figured they would bring someone back based on who wants it the most and who showed the most promise not just because of teams.

I was just about to say the same thing. At this point, teams mean nothing. It's each man for himself. It was never a 'team' sport in the first place. I would hope that the UFC would choose their perceived best fighter to come back on the show. Of the few who are not already scheduled to fight on the Finale card, John is definitely the best fighter to come back. Even if John is going to fight his 'teammate' Matt, neither guy would care because they know it's business and nothing personal. Just because Mac leaves (if that's the case, fingers crossed), doesn't mean they should bring back a Hughes team member. And I am not fazed by Mac's blog, even if he sounds so nonchalant and happy about himself in his blog. Maybe the UFC made him a deal to throw off the audience. Wouldn't that be a hell of a twist?? It seems so obvious it isn't Mac, and that's why I have a feeling about him leaving.

If you're right, and you win our sig bet, I won't be disappointed! Since the signs all point away from your prediction, I'll proudly display my new sig, knowing that I lost to a true psychic!

I'm guessing Matt drops out. Since John fought Mac before and was the only person that wanted to fight him (he obviously did that to look tough and then proceeded to get his ass kicked), I'm guessing since John was already in the last round and since he already fought Mac then they would proceed to have him fight Mac again.
THEN I think it will be John that gets knocked out.

I think it would be lame if they matched Mac and John again. I don't think they would put the same two guys together twice in the same month (T.V. time). The fans wouldn't want to see John get his ass beat again.

I dont know I think it could be a very different fight if John goes in and stands up for a little bit instead of trying endless take downs. God its been awhile but i dont even remember him throwing a single punch. I remember the leg kick but thats it other than takedown attempts. He really underestimated mac in that fight and just assumed he could overpower him with his size. I think if he makes gameplan changes and came back mentally strong and prepared he COULD take it, not to say that he would, just that he could. Eitherway this fight won't happen again.

I meant out of the fighters that are eliminated that could come back.
And George still sucks, like all of these fighters except Mac...
