Who is getting "Knocked out" and Who do you think they are gonna bring back?

Alright so we all saw that in the preview for the next episode someone is getting knocked out of the running and needs a replacement. Who do you guys think it's going to be and discuss who you think the replacement should be.

Personally I think Tommy's nose may have opened up during training again and they might make him withdraw because it was all ready a NASTY CUT. But more importantly I think John should get the chance to come back and take his place because he showed a lot of promise in his first fight even if his second was rather lackluster. That and he hasn't acted like a total lame like many of the others during the show. Discuss...

“The Ultimate Fighter” Semifinalist Replacement Revealed
Posted by MMA Junkie on November 30, 2007 at 12:00 pm ET
(Warning: This post reveals the name of the semifinalist replacement that will be revealed on Wednesday’s season finale of “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra.” However, it does not reveal the fighter who is forced out of the competition, nor does it include the winners of next week’s semifinal fights.)
During next week’s season-ending episode of “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Hughes vs. Team Serra,” two semifinal matches will take place to determine finalists for the series live finale. However, as MMAjunkie.com first reported, one semifinalist is forced to drop out of the competition, which forces a last-minute substitution.

MMAjunkie.com (www.mmajunkie.com) now knows the name of that replacement, which can be found after the jump below. However, we will not reveal the name of the fighter who drops out of the competition, and we won’t reveal the winners of next week’s fights.

The season-ending episode of “The Ultimate Fighter” airs Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT, and the live season finale takes place three days later — on Saturday, Dec. 8. Both air on Spike TV.

As we learned this week, the semifinalist match-ups for next week include Mac Danzig (Team Hughes) vs. Matt Arroyo (Team Serra), as well as Tommy Speer (Team Hughes) vs. George Sotiropoulos (Team Serra).

One of the four above fighters will be replaced in the semifinals by…

.

.

John Kolosci.

MMAjunkie.com has confirmed with multiple sources close to the show that Kolosci was awarded the spot in the semis.

Although some fans concluded Kolosci was the replacement fighter because of some quirk on the UFC’s website, we can assure you that reliable sources close to the situation have confirmed with MMAjunkie.com that Kolosci is the fighter.

Kolosci (8-4 MMA, 0-0 UFC), who turned 33 just this week, defeated Billy Miles in a preliminary fight on the show but suffered a first-round submission loss to semifinalist Mac Danzig in the quarterfinals.

The fact that Kolosci apparently stepped up to take the fight shouldn’t be surprising. He was the only fighter to specifically request a fight with Danzig, the odds-on favorite to win the show, during the quarterfinals.

I have a weird feeling Danzig will be out, but it wont be by injury. Just a funky feeling.

If you watch the trailer on the ufc.com website Dana implies that a fighter 'walks away'.. So it's not a doctor telling someone not to fight. Dana says "I've never seen someone walk away from a fight so easily"

edit: I watched it again and Dana actually says "I've never seen a guy give up an opportunity so easily"

But the voice over for the episode claims a fighter "walks away"

Nosbig 12-01-2007 05:30 AM

Hope it's not Danzig that walks away, maybe arroyo?

davidm724 12-01-2007 05:40 AM

"walk away so easily"
That quote screams "DANZIG" in my mind. I think he'll get pissed about something, or decide it's not worth taking a risk of losing to a 'can', so he'll bug out. I think Danzig is really worried about Arroyo, and I'm calling it right now, Danzig's out. I think Arroyo could take him.

I know you guys think it's Danzig.. and I kind of agree it seems like something he would do. But based on his blogging it doesn't sound like him at all. His blog reads like it is being written as the episodes come out and his blog for the last episode said he was 'deep in training' right now which makes me think he is training for the Finale.

That and why would a guy do a blog and help promote a show that he 'walked away from'

I'm thinking it's George.

I'm thinking its not.

I am going with George too.. reasons

- can't see mac leaving..especially since hes been writing his blog about each episode (makes me think he won)
- the replacement is a Serra fighter... makes me think its more likely a Serra fighter is leaving
- Matt Arroya was still training with Matt Serra after the show, which means it wasn't him, because if it was, I highly doublt Matt Serra would continue to train him.
