That would be most unfortunate. Even though I really was getting tired of hearing "Jersey Boy" Matt run his yap
freakin' ad nauseum about what a dick Hughes was, Serra really impressed me with the way he worked with his team. He showed very good coaching and leadership skills. He never talked down to them, he got down on the mat and worked out the details on how to move, what to do, really really exacting coaching. You could tell that he really cared about his boys. If only he could show that side of himself more. Ha.
Matt Serra was obviously the best coach far and away. Matt Hughes showed himself to be very very self serving. Yes, he is no doubt a UFC/MMA legend as a fighter...but as a person he seems quite shallow and self-involved to a fault. Not to mention pale. So, so pale. heheh
