LOL after all the theories who wouldve thought Hughes would be the winner at the end

his team, that is.

he was the laughing stock all season, labeled the Ken Shamrock of this season, yet his two guys are the ones left standing in the finals

mac in the finals was definitely a given

but with all the foreshadowing about farmboy never finishing a fight, and his "secret" right hand, we should have saw this coming

props to team hughes

I knew this would happen Serra must regret not putting Mac and Tommy against each other in the Quarterfinals.

Yeah, I am not going to give Hughes much credit for this. Good picks. I'll give him that. I'm glad his guys made it, good for them, but all Hughes wants to do is make Serra look bad and make himself look good. That's the way he's been all season. When his guys were losing, he wanted out. He ever-so passive-aggressively begged Dana White to let him go. Dana didn't bite on Hughes' hints, but he wanted out. I think that was the most douchebaggish thing I've ever seen.
I'm glad Serra didn't pin Mac and Tommy together when he had the chance. I think there would have been people all over him saying he's an ass for doing that, regardless of the fact that his fighters would be fighting each other. Actually, people were all over his ass about it even before he picked. Mac vs. Tommy would have been the smart pick for Serra, but he was the bigger man and didn't do it.
I know you guys aren't ragging on Serra, and you're only giving Hughes respect. I just don't believe he deserves the respect. His fighters deserve it. In my eyes, Hughes doesn't "win" until he beats Serra. Who the hell knows if that will ever happen now.

I think serra lost due to selfishness. He said clearly he didnt want any of hughe's guys to make it. Not putting matt and tommy together was bad for his fighter's i think cause they are the better fighter's. This made it toughter for his own team i believe.

Aha!, I thought 2 guys from Hughes team would be in the finals, actually I knew Mac, I could have bet on Mac, but Tommy, I wanted him but I thought George would have been more worthy to say, technique's wise, well I was wrong and I got my 2 best guys In the finals, George was KOED! Last night, and I was happy, saying to everyone, everyday, everywhere, I'm the best when indeed I would have to plead that in fact he wasn't.

Fedcro.

Oh and I don't know who I want to win anymore in the finals. It's sort of hard to say, when both of your favorite guys are fighting each-other, gee, I say.

You have to give Hughes alot of credit for helping Tommy develope all his tools. He really looked like a much better fighter against George than any of his previous fights. Props to Hughes!

It was great when tommy KOed george and the whole team jumped over the cage.

It was funny when george was trying to fight people after the fight then said "what happened".

did you see the look on serra's face? It was classic.

I think Hughes had better fighters. Yes I know only 2 made it but Serras team seemed to have less talent at first. I think Serra outcoached Hughes. Hughes had 2 of the best guys. George was the only good fighter Serra really had.(Talking GUys you thought would be in the main event)

Tommy Spears is a monster though. Even if he loses to Danzig, he could be really great in a couple of years.
