Mac Danzig will drop to 155
He doesnt seem that small. I bet that is because alot of the other guys on the show are really LW's. Tommy will stay at 170 Im sure. Maybe George. But I could see alot of the other guys dropping.

Mac Danzig Moving to 155 Pounds After “TUF” Finale
Posted by MMA Junkie on December 7, 2007 at 11:02 am ET
Mac Danzig (16-4-1 MMA, 0-0 UFC), a finalist from “The Ultimate Fighter: Team Serra vs. Team Hughes” who takes on Tommy Speer at the show’s live finale on Saturday, will drop from 170 pounds to his natural weight of 155 pounds after the bout.
Danzig discussed the plans during a recent UFC.com interview with Thomas Gerbasi.
The 27-year-old Danzig, a former 155-pound champ for King of the Cage and Gladiators Challenge, said he only moved up to welterweight because a spot on “The Ultimate Fighter” was just the break he needed to get into the UFC. The sixth installment of the UFC’s reality series featured only 170-pound fighters.
Win or lose, Danzig is all but guaranteed a career in the UFC, and that’s why he’s going to make the drop.
“I really have no business fighting the top five guys at 170, or even the top 10 when it comes down to it,” Danzig told UFC.com. “It’s not that I can’t beat them, but if you put me in with Matt Hughes or Georges St. Pierre 10 times, I’m gonna win a number of those times, but realistically, with all skills being the same, those guys are extremely skilled and much bigger than me. I walk around at 170. Those guys walk around at 190, so it’s not a good idea for me.
“I really want to make a run for a title, and 155 is my weight class. I feel that within a couple of years I can be a world champion at 155.“
Although Danzig won all three of his fights on “The Ultimate Fighter” (and rather convincingly), he’s on a two-fight losing streak in professional bouts. He lost his KOTC title to Clay French via split decision in January, and he then suffered a second-round knockout to Hayato Sakurai at PRIDE 33 the following month. Prior to the loss, though, he had posted a 12-fight win streak.
The move to 155 pounds — even for a “TUF” champion — wouldn’t be unchartered territory. Joe Stevenson won “The Ultimate Fighter 2’s” welterweight title and is now a top contender at 155 pounds.

I think he's smart to drop to 155 but think he's deluded for actually believing he could EVER beat Hughes or GSP. That's typical Danzig.

Of course he's smart to drop down to 155, thats the weight class he's always been in. As for thinking he could beat Hughes or GSP, Probably not going to happen but NO fighter would ever say they couldn't beat another fighter. You say it's "typical Danzig", I would say that it's "normal" for a fighter to say something like that.

I agree with iscariot one. What's the point of competing if you don't believe in your own ability? Sure he may be a little out of his league, but I can't blame him for believing in himself. Look at the other fighters on TUF 6... when asked who's the best fighter in the house, most of them listed off Mac and George. If you're on this show, you are not quite on the level of regular UFC fighters. If you place yourself behind other guys on this show, you probably don't belong in the UFC. Some guys are just too worried about sounding cocky or arrogant. In my opinion, a fighter should be confident in his own ability, but can still respect others' abilities and experience level. While respecting the other fighter, they can still express how they have the ability to beat them. If they get owned, oh well, it's back to the drawing board. That's my opinion though.

Speaking of dropping to 155, I think Matt Serra could easily drop to 155 and be in better shape. Anybody agree? 5'6 170 is huge

He used to fight at 155. He's only at 170 because of TUF i think. Hard to drop when you go ahead andwin the 170 title

yeah he's an original 155er gone 170 for the show. He'll be real good at 155. And Serra's also an original 155. He was LW when he fought BJ.
