They should have TUF be a live show.

That would shake things up. Shoot it live. Or semi live, so we could vote on who fights who each week. That would get the fans more involved. I bet we would get better match ups that way too.

Seems impossible with all the footage they'd have. However, I am intrigued by your idea. I think that if they advertised 'uncut' clips, they'd attract a lot of fans who lost faith in this last TUF season. They obviously twisted and contorted things in editing to make it portray the coaches and fighters a certain way. I lost a lot of respect for Hughes personality-wise this season, but I can't help but feel like it might not have been that bad if it wasn't for the editing. I have no faith in Hughes' coaching ability from what I saw on the show, but I have no basis for comparison because I've only seen him coach on the show. Is that what the UFC wants its viewers to think of Hughes?

I just think that uncut scenes would give the chance to see the best parts of the season without it being twisted to create drama. Mac stated in one of his blogs that in the same sequence of an episode, it showed clips from weeks apart, as if it had happened in the same hour or something. I've gotten to where I don't trust TUF's portrayal of the fighters or coaches unless I have something else to support their portrayal.

Thats the funny thing about realityT.V.. Its not real most of the time. They could even train for a week, and film that whole week. Then the second week have the fight based off veiwers votes. They could dedicate most of the first episode to doing a short little bio on each fighter. Maybe even show some fight footage if they have any.

MagiK11 has a little shameless behaviour in the past
They could have made it like big brother and have a live feed online and still the show on tv once a week. It would probably work but I'm sure it would be really boring to watch them just walk around and eat for hours on end.

Live would be too boring, but I wouldn't mind a little less editing. And more from the training sessions.
