The Face of Ace
I think Franklin definatly might've ended up looking a bit cocky on tuf's episode last night. Don't get it twisted, I don't think so, but other's probably will now. I am not referring to his advice to Matt to drop on his knee, but rather his comments on "Oh, this is a cardio day??" See I think what Franklin is getting to see first hand why he is the champ. NO ONE trains harder than Ace. These guys wanna be champ??? CHAMPION - that means you have to work harder than everybody else to be on top. Rich comes into the gym and these guys aren't exerting themselves half as hard as Rich does. I don't think his attitude was looking down on these guys as much as thinking to himself "There's a good reason I'm the champ"

I agree. He did have a cocky way about him on the show, but he was probably both unimpressed with the training as well as intimidated by the Staph infection junk going around.

He's cocky because he's hanging out with Hughes and Sylvia way too much. He used to be cool and down to earth until he started training with Miletech Fighting Systems. Everyone except Pulver is cocky and arrogant in that camp. Hopefully Pulver steers clear from that personality.

He was put in a pretty uncomfortable position. Everyone thought he was scouting them. There is skin disease running rampant. He has guys talking about him behind his back....and so on.
Franklin is a class act. I think he was uncomfortable and it got edited to make a good show.

I don't really know why they brought him on the show. His hand is still sore and the fighters are all coming down off of staph.
Then again, every coach this season seems useless. From what it looks like on the show nobody has trained much since the first week.

I thought he was going to do something on the show but all he does is just sit on a bench and scout them its boring. Chuck Liddell looks a lot better giving them striking advice against that punching bag, can't wait for him!

I dunno. GSP called them a bunch of lazy guys and now Franklin has too. Every time they ask the fighters they say stuff like "everyone is used to working at their own pace" or whatever. Maybe they aren't slacking but they aren't training like the semi-amateurs did in the last seasons.

Its got to be odd for the guy having to train the fighter that he is going to defened his title fighting. I have met rich trust me cocky is the last thing he is.
