Mt theories on Ken's coaching(Not sure if they are true).

1. He didn't care about the show and just wanted a chance to fight Tito.

2. From what i have seen he trains the Lions Den HARD and is a lot better then what is seen on TUF. The time off he gave may have been a habit because of how hard he trained his Lions Den guys. He could have also not trained much to not let his coaching out into the public so mabe fighters could have used it to their advantage when taking of a Lions Den member.

Tito was the best by far. He recognized that the guys weren't top fighters yet and had them work on the one thing that helps them all universally... Cardio! I like Tito far more than I used to because of his coaching.

Tito Ortiz impressed the hell out of me, I can't stand the guy, but he's an awesome coach. I just bought TUF Season 5 on DVD the other however, and Jens Pulver is doing a great job as well.

Pulver was better than Tito, Tito did good but took on a coach that did a poor job, Pulver led a team against a team that also had some good coaching and still crushed them. its the old adage that your only as good as the
guy(s) you beat. I have never cared for Tito or Jens but they both did a phenomenal job on the show.

I thought Tito by far and away put his guys in better shape and outclassed the opposing coach the worst... but I have a soft spot for Matt Serra in this voting.

Serra really cared about his guys and Team Hughes was overall a lot bigger and more technically developed from top to bottom IMO.

Team Hughes was "supposed" to win most of those first round fights (Hughes was even mocking most of the picks) and they only won two. Yeah, Team Hughes won but Danzig was the best and Spear was the strongest and that had nothing to do with the coaches. Serra's team had success with what seemed to be pure heart and guts. It was great to watch.

Glad to see at least 2 others agree that Serra was the best. Jens did a great job, I mean great, but shit Serra has that gift about him that he makes others around him wanna train harder, fight stronger, and really push themselves. I would love to see a Team Serra vs. Team Pulver season if they both were 155, that would some exciting stuff.

Serra could def have had one of his guys in the finals if he had done what he wanted and made tommy speer fight danzig. He did what his team wanted though, which you can't blame him for.

Tito was good except his favoritism.

i think Serra on season 4 as the unofficial coach may have been the best. Jens did a great job as well.

I'd say Serra and Ortiz were the two best.
