I actually think Jens Pulver was really god, as was Tito!! I think MAtt Hughes was betetr in season 2 than 6! Randy possibly the best even tho he injured Nate Quarry lol!
Thats true, I was just stating what he said. He did work out with them once because he was fighting Corey, but other than that your right. BJ is obviously a better fighter than Jens, but that doesnt always matter when it comes to coaching I guess.Ok, so I've watched all 6 seasons back to back in the past month. My conclusion is that Tito was the best coach. He trained them the hardest and the most efficiently.
Serra did a good job as a coach on Season 5, but didn't do anything spectacular on season 6 besides rub Joey's nuts. Yeah, his guys won more fights than Hughes, but that was due primarily to picks and not coaching. This is obvious by who was in the finals...Two Hughes guys.
Pulver did a good job but, as with Serra, he didn't do much. He was a solid coach that didn't do anything crazy. I didn't see much difference between Jens and BJ when it came to coaching (minus kicking out Wang ) I don't get why everyone is all over Jens nuts for his coaching? He did well, but nothing spectacular. What did he do that was so great?
Anyways, just my two cents.
BTW, Nate Diaz saying that he wouldn't have done as well on the other team, which he didn't trian with and therefore can't truly comment on, doesn't hold much water. He's biased for Pulver, that is obvious at the end of the season. Doesn't mean that BJ wouldn't have brought out the best in him as well.
