TUF - The Season with the Best Fighters

Well, after some research I have put together each TUF vs. TUF fight with fighters from different seasons to ultimately determine which TUF had the best fighters.

TUF6 fighters are excluded since they haven't fought anyone from the other seasons and we all know that season was a joke anyway.

Josh Koscheck (TUF1) vs. Pete Spratt (TUF4), Winner: Josh Koscheck
Nate Quarry (TUF1) vs. Pete Sell (TUF4), Winner: Nate Quarry
Chris Leben (TUF1) vs. Patrick Cote (TUF4), Winner: Chris Leben
Mike Swick (TUF1) vs. Gideon Ray (TUF4), Winner: Mike Swick
Nate Quarry (TUF1) vs. Shonie Carter (TUF4), Winner: Nate Quarry
Chris Leben (TUF1) vs. Edwin Dewees (TUF4), Winner: Chris Leben
Rashad Evans (TUF2) vs. Sam Hoger (TUF1), Winner: Rashad Evans
Stephan Bonnar (TUF1) vs. Keith Jardine (TUF2), Winner: Stephan Bonnar
Rob MacDonald (TUF2) vs. Kristian Rotharmel (TUF3), Winner: Rob MacDonald
Rashad Evans (TUF2) vs. Stephan Bonnar (TUF1), Winner: Rashad Evans
Jason Von Flue (TUF2) vs. Alex Karalexis (TUF1), Winner: Jason Von Flue
Chris Leben (TUF1) vs. Jorge Rivera (TUF4), Winner: Chris Leben
Jorge Gurgel (TUF2) vs. Danny Abbadi (TUF3), Winner: Jorge Gurgel
Melvin Guillard (TUF2) vs. Gabe Ruediger (TUF5), Winner: Melvin Guillard
Matt Hamill (TUF3) vs. Seth Petruzelli (TUF2), Winner: Matt Hamill
Marcus Davis (TUF2) vs. Shonie Carter (TUF4), Winner: Marcus Davis
Keith Jardine (TUF2) vs. Forrest Griffin (TUF1), Winner: Keith Jardine
Rich Clementi (TUF4) vs. Ross Pointon (TUF3), Winner: Rich Clementi
Luke Cummo (TUF2) vs. Josh Haynes (TUF3), Winner: Luke Cummo
Marcus Davis (TUF2) vs. Pete Spratt (TUF4), Winner: Marcus Davis
Kalib Starnes (TUF3) vs. Chris Leben (TUF1), Winner: Kalib Starnes
Ed Herman (TUF3) vs. Scott Smith (TUF4), Winner: Ed Herman
Stephan Bonnar (TUF1) vs. Mike Nickels (TUF3), Winner: Stephan Bonnar
Patrick Cote (TUF4) vs. Kendall Grove (TUF3), Winner: Patrick Cote
Nate Quarry (TUF1) vs. Pete Sell (TUF4), Winner: Nate Quarry
Kenny Florian (TUF1) vs. Din Thomas (TUF4), Winner: Kenny Florian
Rashad Evans (TUF2) vs. Michael Bisping (TUF3), Winner: Rashad Evans
Rich Clementi (TUF4) vs. Melvin Guillard (TUF2), Winner: Rich Clementi
Jorge Rivera (TUF4) vs. Kendall Grove (TUF3), Winner: Jorge Rivera
Mike Swick (TUF1) vs. Josh Burkman (TUF2), Winner: Mike Swick

Overall Stats:

TUF1

12-5 OVERALL
9-0 vs. TUF4
1-1 vs. TUF3
2-4 vs. TUF2

TUF2

11-4 OVERALL
1-0 vs. TUF5
2-1 vs. TUF4
4-1 vs. TUF3
4-2 vs. TUF1

TUF3

3-8 OVERALL
1-3 vs. TUF4
1-4 vs. TUF2
1-1 vs. TUF1

TUF4
4-12 OVERALL
3-1 vs. TUF3
1-2 vs. TUF2
0-9 vs. TUF1

Interesting Facts:

- The winners of TUF4 earned a title shot, yet they have the worst record of all the TUF seasons.
- Of those 4 wins from TUF4, Rich Clementi has 2 of them.
- Rashad Evans is 3-0 against TUF, one against the TUF3 winner and TUF1 runner up.
- Gabe Ruediger is the only TUF5 member to fight another TUF5, yet he was the only fighter on TUF5 that didn't fight on the show
- Upcoming TUF fights are Nate Quarry vs. Kalib Starnes, Michael Bisping vs. Charles McCarthy, and Kenny Florian vs. Joe Lauzon, looks to be another loss for TUF4 and 2 more wins for TUF1.
- TUF1 and TUF2 have an equal fight percentage but TUF2 owns TUF1, some could also say Keith Jardine beat Stephan Bonnar, thus making them 5-1 against TUF1.
- Danny Abbadi took Jorge Gurgel to a decision, I'd just like to mention that.
- Kristian Rotharmel is rolling in fields and smoking dope.
- Pete Sell vs. Nate Quarry is the only rematch, both going to Nate Quarry by KO.
- A TUF2 fighter beat a TUF1 coach.
- A TUF5 fighter beat a TUF5 coach.
- A TUF4 fighter beat a TUF4 coach, yack.

There you have it. In conclusion, TUF2 had the best fighters, TUF1 owns TUF4, but I still say TUF3 had the worst fighters, only in TUF3 could Josh Haynes make the finals.

The TUF2 fighter vs. TUF1 coach was Jardine vs. Chuck, the TUF5 coach and fighter was Lauzon and Pulver, and the TUF4 fighter vs. TUF4 coach was Serra vs. GSP if you consider GSP a coach.

PutsOut has a little shameless behaviour in the past
Wow you spent alot of time on that. you did a good job. But i will say TUF1 had the best fighters. But i still think Mac Danzig is the best fighter to come out of TUF even if he really hasnt proven as much as say Forrest Griffin On Kieth Jardine but i think Mac has some of the most raw talent and will be top 10 Walter wait when he starts fighting more.

tuf 1 season definately had the best fighters. overall the season has had some of the most successful contestants from tuf. it had josh koshceck, kenny florian, stephan bonnar, mike swick, chris leben and nate quarry. of those fighters 3 have earned a title shot, and excluding stephan bonnar they have all appeared consistantly on peoples top 10 lists.
