Good point that I didn't catch ysterday. That is quite callous of the UFC not to tell them and create some kind of reliance that they would be at house for at least a few weeks, based on the previous shows. I think that guy even said 'cars' insetad of 'car'. But yeah, that would suck if you had to leave day 1 or 2 when you haven't planned for it.

This is NOT guaranteed fights, even if they make it to the show. They still have to earn it. Why would fighters gave up their personal lives? I think because they're stupid and don't save something as back up plan to fall back to if things don't go right. Life is not fair and that's how it is. Therefore, back up plan is a good idea.

I think it’s a good format and makes for a more exciting show, no more stupid personal drama just straight to the fighting. I would rather the show revolve around the fighters and their potential matches, training and coaching than frat boy antics and tough guy posturing.

I loved the look on everyone face when more and more fighters showed up and after they were told they had to fight to get on the show. This could be a great season.

I think everyone made weight, so I don't think it turned out to be such a big deal.

If someone sold their soul to be on there & got nothing out the bargain, then that's their problem. He shouldn't have been so stupid to sell up. It was a reality show he was going onto ffs. If he didn't know the details he should have sought them out. I understand it's a dream blah blah blah. If you're willing to take the gamble, don't grumble when you lose.

No one sells themselves on an open ended bargain except for gamblers, alcoholics, and retarded politicians. Most people are rational and will weigh the benefits vs the drawbacks.

If you are told you made TUF and have the impression you will be there for the 16 weeks it can make sense to sell your car and quit your job.

If you know you might only be there for a day you might not agree, and certainly would weigh everything more carefully, or even make alternate arrangements. Like take 3 days off from work and keep the car. Make a Power of Attorney for someone to sell your car if you make it, and do whatever with the job.

In your example you are saying soemone should sign for a mortgage without knowing the interest rate and not be sruprised if it is 20% instead of the market rate, and that it would serve them right. I am saying they probably wouldn't sign in the first place and that it would be rational to make different decisions for different situations.
