First fight was a snooze fest. Ten straight minutes of lay n pray. There was literally less than fourty five seconds on the feet and nothing but hammerfists and quasi effective lay n pray. Pretty boring fight, but Jesse Taylor pointed it out. He was clearly stronger, had better cardio, and was a better wrestler.

I don't know why Matt Brown was so hyped. I could tell he was nothing special. Oh well it made for on entertaining fight.
I'm really looking forward to Cale and C.B. squaring off next episode.

I was REALLY looking foward to the Amir vs. Brown fight, but sadly I was a little dissapointed. Both fighters looked too tentative and, I don't even know how to say it, I guess they were slow and lazy looking with their fighting style. Maybe it was because they were good friends and didn't really want to mess each other up, like Amir said in the post fight thoughts, but I guess I just wanted a better fight, preferable one that ends in a KO, not a damn submission. I was also quiet dissapointed in Amir, and this is coming from a guy who LOVED Amir and his fighting style even before the show started, which is evident from one of my posts on a thread about Amir a while back where I said he had serious stand up and a good all around game. I guess I'm nitpicking a little but I'll take a win from Amir anyday I guess.

Dante vs. Jesse was boring. The first round Jesse had some halfway decent GnP but in the second he was completely gassed and basically Danted Dante (Lay n Pray). I thought it was funny when the ref stood them up halfway through the second and Jesse could barely stand up. The Dante just basically takes himself down by walking right into Jesse. Neither guy showed me much of anything in that fight (or their previous ones for that matter). I don't particularly want to see either guy in the UFC after the show.
Matt vs. Amir was pretty good. Some nice striking in the first. Brutal knee to the body by Amir that shifted the tide. Funny how Dana was creaming all over the fight during the replay. It wasn't THAT good. Matt was spent in the second and just couldn't stop Amir from mounting him. That triangle by Amir took like a half hour to happen but Matt was too spent/inexperienced on the ground to prevent it. Nice win by Amir. Good showing by both guys. Wouldn't mind seeing either one or both in the UFC after the show, particularly Amir. Matt is OK but he's definitely not the savage killer that they are trying to make him out to be.

And CB Dalloway isn't the stud that people think as well. The cast on this show make him look better then he is.

Looks like the preview from the next episode features Jeremy May, yet again being a douchebag.
Seems like he wants to get Jesse kicked off the show he can possibly take his place. What a fuckkin toolbox.
I pray to god that Jesse doesn't do anything irrational. In fact I hope Dana kicks Jeremy May out of the house

I think Jeremy is trying to milk his 15 minutes for all it's worth. That's all he's there for anyway. He has no future in the UFC... At least I pray he doesn't.

First fight was disappointing. Dante's guard wasn't very good. Taylor is a solid wrestler but he reminds me a lot of Tommy Speer except a tad bit better.
Second fight was ok. Matt Brown doesn't like getting hit at all and it's showed. Amir isn't very good either and will get trashed by whoever he faces next round including Jesse Taylor.
Also Alex Delarge how is C.B. overrated? He's a great wrestler with good gnp and solid submissions including a great guillotine.

He has faced absolutely nobody and almost got caught in multiple submissions by some dude named Nick and people are acting as if this guy is a monster, he's not.
His striking looked subpar, the only solid aspect about his game is wrestling, and his GnP is decent, nothing spectacular.
Yeah Pete Sell has a "great guillotine" as well. That whole skit with Rampage really warped some people.

C.B. is definetly overrated but I still think he has the best skills in the house. Sadly with this season it isnt really saying that much. Still I feel he has plenty of potential with his solid wrestling already, he almost got caught in submissions? His sub defense isn't too shabby. He needs to work on his standup and passing guards.
