Herb had good reactions. I definitely did not expect the punch, and I doubt Herb did. Looked like he was moving while the punch landed, and he had to catch himself to get to them. I thought he got there quick and did his job. Even without the followup punches, dude was jacked.

Anyone else think it was funny when he turned to Herb and said "Well it's my first knockout". Herb just had the classic "Wow I don't care" look on his face.

He was pretty far away but you have to remember how quick the KO came. The fighters were fresh and standing one second, the next it was over. With two fresh fighters, you can't really stand right behind them in case one of them shoots, clinches, or just bullrushes.

This is the part I don't understand. He was literally already moving before the guy hit the floor. It doesn't get much quicker than that.

I hope he's alright as well.

I felt very badly for the guy. Good fight until then and "WHAM!". The moaning was really bad but I wish him luck and hope he can overcome it.

According to the Mike Dolce's blog - he suffered a broken jaw (in three places) but no other injuries (physical or mental)

I would love to see an interview with him now though - see what he remembers from the fight!
