Exclamation Kalib Starnes vs Kendall Grove - Ultimate Fighter TV

anyone watch this match? I like kendall, i think he has a ton of heart and that goes a long way.
I’m not sure how hurt kalib truly was, i think he realized this was the real deal and was scared he'd get really hurt. Kendall seems to have a ton of pride, it wouldn’t have mattered if he was hurt, it appeared he was out there to win!

Anyone else get a chance to watch this?

Yea even if he won he still wouldnt beable to compete on the show anymore. So it was wise decision on his part. Not to get hurt even more.

I fight on the amateur circuit and I've seen guys take worse injuries then that and keep fighting. Like Ken said, I doubt that Kalib had a broken rib. He may be in the UFC someday, but he needs work and that's clear.

Props to Kendall for keeping those punches and knees coming even after he got slammed and rocked around a little bit.

Kendall could have easily submitted Kalib in the 2nd round at about 2:40 with choke. Kalib gave kendall his neck for a good 10 seconds on a bad shoot. Kendall had no clue what to do..

I like Kendalls heart also, but it is getting frustrating seeing these fighters who do not know what to do when the situation presents itself.

I am not too sure kalib was really hurt... he kept saying he cracked or broke a rib.....if you have ever cracked or broken a rib, you know how painful it is..... there is no way that he could have been breathing or speaking the way he was... you can nonly breath in very short breaths, and each breath feels like it is your last..... i think he punked out....why, i don't know because the man definitely has some skills

Also the pressure to fight in the UFC probly has alot to do with them giving up. I dont know some of the guys they pic are pretty bad, and still need alot of training. I know UFC can pic better guys than this. They all ways seem to pic guys with little heart and skills. That fight should have been over when he had the leg.

i wanted kendall to win this and im glad he did, he took some pretty heavy shots from kalib, including the high leg when he was trying to get up that he at a split second semi blocked, the guy wants to be their and he didnt let up and thats what the UFC needs,

kalib with a broken rib??, this guy complains about injuries throughout the whole show,if he really wanted to win that he could have, he was a better all around fighter, he made too many mistakes though, he told ken his rib was hurt in the middle of the match, kendall went straght after it

and his conditioning, ken needs to train these guys because thier performance is piss poor, had kendall and kalib fought when the show first started kalib would have destroyed him in the first minute of the first round, but as i said ken is not training these guys effectively and its showing alot
