I'm really looking forward to Josh vs. Mike. Their two matches were both great on the last episode.

I totally agree Mike Bisping is a very talented fighter and he's my pick to (easily) win the contract in his division.. My other prediction is that The Kendal Grove and Ed Herman fight is going to be the fight of the night.. In addition, I have Kendal beating Herman in fight that I believe will come close to The Forrest Griffen - Stephen Bonner contract match (excitement wise.!) I do however admit that niether fighter has -or any fighter from season's 2 + 3 for that matter has- the heart that Forrest or Stephen have.. I know that Kendal is the under-dog in this fight and I admit that at the begining of the show I predicted that he would be one of the first to be eliminated. But under Tito's direction he has grown more than anyone on the show.. Ed Herman has showed nothing but midiocre perfomances and a big mouth..! On another note, Florain as the main event.?? I admit that he has improved leaps and bounds since his lost to Diego Sanches but the main event, yeah right..!

Kendall Almost tap out.???

On the contrary, Ed almost tapped from the rear naked choke - he actaully lightly tapped Kendal twice on the shouder.. Look for the reply and pay attention to the choke attempts.!!!

I saw what looked like a half-hearted tap, and at least one of the announcers thought it may have been a tap as well (Joe Rogan). I'm amazed the ref didn't consider it one, but I'm glad he didn't. It would have been premature. That was a great fight, but I don't particularly agree with giving Ed a contract based solely on his performance. Shortfuse would have been given a contract eventually, but I think Giving Ed the contract on the same night cheapens the outstanding performance of the "underdog", Kendall, who proved his dedication and heart transcended expectations. Ed had some impressive ground and pound, but I feel Kendall won cleanly, and given 20 or so more seconds, could have forced Ed to tap.

The Bisping fight was very good also. Micheal clearly destroyed his opponent, however it seemed like he should have been able to end it several times early with submissions, but kudos to Josh for escaping them.

The Matt Hamill fight was ugly (again). It was an obvious mismatch right from the start. There's no doubt Matt is a bull, and freakishly strong wrestler, but he's still a potential diamond in the ruff, and has a long way to go before he can get in there against some real competition it seems.

Thumbs up Kendall Almost tap out..!! #2

Correction,The Slight tap-out or half tap out by ED Herman came in the secound round when kendall traps Ed's head on his chest (just prior to Kendals triangle atempt) If Kendal would have held that for another 5 seconds Ed would have tapped for sure. but as it stands just as Ed made the half harted tap Kendal unknowingly released pressure to adjust for his triangle atempt.. Also if you noticed Kendal finally got that rear-naked choke in tight, but unfortunately it happened 4 or 5 secounds before the final bell.. I have agree with GMAN giving a secound contract -though a good jesture by Dana White- was uncalled for, and takes away from Kendal "the under-dog" Grove's victory.. Though Herman forth a great and corageous fight, Kendal clearly beat him (and if you have the chance to view the fight again like I just did, you'll know that without question.) I have to take my hat off to the judges for being able to see past Herman's burst of agressiveness and notice Kendals defensive and especially outfensive technic's. It was 1 submission attempt after another (with a couple of near tap-outs (2) by Herman). At one point Kendal landed a knee to the gut that almost took ED out but Herman instinctively was able to grab Kendal around the waist as he got hit and he held on and took Kendal down. In my opinion if Kendal would had followed up with an elbow to back/spine he would have dropped and finish Herman. In addition, Herman gassed during the fight and had to be damn near carried to his corner. All these things were factors in the judges decision.. It clearly was one hell of a fight..! - One in the tradistion of Griffen vs Bonner (as predicted.. View my post Tito or Shamrock.??) but, without the full intensesity and heart those two displayed. Unlike this fight that fight definetly call for both fighter to receive contracts.!
