Did you guys ever think that there might be a HUGE difference in someone HAVING that strain of Herpes and someone GETTING it from being on a show that the UFC is producing and making the guys live in the same house???

I can see it being a non issue if he was training at his own place and fighting in the UFC, but for the show, the guys are living together, training together, and not allowed to leave. Don't you think that's a massive difference? I mean, how do you force people to live in the same house and train with someone that has a contagious virus, and not have some liability for it???

And BTW, This thread is going to the TUF section. No matter what's asked, it's going to turn in to a TUF conversation.

Chris is absolutely right on this. Being forced to live with someone and train with someone that has this virus is a completely different story than potentially fighting somebody with it in the octagon.

Dana did what he had to do in this case. You can't risk other fighters potentially getting a virus they will never be able to shake while living in your house, training in your facility and starring on your show. If they get it in the octagon by chance it's a totally different story than practically assuring that they get in in the TUF house.

Its unfortunate for dude that got kicked off the show but it would be more unfortunate for 15 more guys to get it because they wouldn't send 1 guy home.

If I had to predict 1 guy that may have herpes in the UFC based on looks alone......I would choose Leben. Dude looks like the kind of guy who would have rashes and shit! I don't know why but he looks the part to me.

its just cold sores its pretty common in general yea some other ufc fighters probably have it its a minor thing but it sucks because its with you for life.

Dana was justified for it and he will probably give the guy another chance anyway but Dana could get sued by one of the other guys if they caught it so he played it safe
