Matthew Riddle - Terrible Teammate
On the last episode of TUF Matthew riddle was sitting on a couch talking to Matt Brown who was Jeremy May's opponent on that episode. Matthew Riddle told Matt Brown about Jeremy's leg injury and even told him to kick him in the leg.
Jeremy May and Matthew Riddle are teammates on the show. It doesn't matter that Jeremy was exaggerating the injury (Matthew didn't know that, he thought it was real). It doesn't matter that Jeremy is a complete jackass. It doesn't matter that Matthew Riddle hates Jeremy May. It doesn't matter if he was drunk or hung over. He gave away strategic information to his teammate's opponent before their fight. You NEVER go against your team. That would be like a soldier crossing enemy lines and giving away his general's plan of action to the opposing side. It's f'n wrong. You don't ever betray your team like that. What an asshole!
It's too bad that Rampage won't get to see the tapes until after the show is over. I would love to see him confront that loser or toss him off the team. I don't care about the circumstances, you don't betray your team, it's just wrong.

I'd rather Rampage find out that Jeremy was a puss that faked his injury and kicked his ass off the show.

i agree with you. i don't like jeremy either, but not for anything stupid he said. i don't like him for using some supposed injury to preclude him from having to properly train. his shortcutting was apparent in his match as a result, and i am glad that someone whose heart is not in mma is out of contention. in spite of all of this, riddel had no reason to tip off the other team. this is inexcusable, if i were rampage, i'd ask him off the show. he's already lost, and now he's just tryin to mess stuff up for the team.

Kendall did the same for Soloman when he had to fight against Singer. I personally could give two sh1ts because, in the end, there is only one contract being handed out (sometimes two I guess).

But its not a Team sport. If it were American Top Team or Chute Boxe going giving tips to their teammates opponents then yes that would suck, but TUF is a competition with only one winner, and the guy giving the tips was already eliminated.

Good point, the team aspect is played up too much in the show. They will fight their teammates eventually. There's only two people on the show who's really got a team, and that's Forrest and Rampage.

As far as I'm concerned they are still teams until we get to the later rounds and they will fight each other. Having your teammate win gives your team an advantage because you can strategically pick the fights. Sure Matthew was already eliminated, but they were there for him when he founght and now that he's eliminated he's basically saying "Screw the team, they can do nothing more for me". I understand what people are saying, but it's still a crappy/selfish thing to do.

I think it is what happens when you take competitors from a 1 on 1 sport and force them into some kind of team scenario. They don't have to work together to get a win (besides trying to get a win to have the power to pick the next fight), and Riddle already lost. It doesn't matter to him really.
I thought it was dirty at the time, but when you realize that everyone on Jackson's team hated May, it isn't a big deal.
