Maybe I'm alone on this but I thought the first fight was some of the worst kickboxing I've ever seen. Those were sloppy combos and some horrible angles. Both guys were just flailing at each other. Schultz at least had a jab that was working but more so just because the other dude couldn't predict the same jab after getting popped with it many times.
The second fight was decent but again didn't live up to the hype. Its great that the one dude loves to slam his opponents but if you can't do much with it or wear yourself down and gas by doing them what good is it. I admit I was cheering for Amir cause he was the underdog but he really impressed me with his patience to wait out the storm and wait for his chance and he got it.
Maybe I'm a TUF cinic but everytime I see a fighter chirp about how good they are they never live up to the hype. I guess I have to keep reminding myself that these guys are extremely amateur but I then go watch fights in some of the small time shows and these guys just don't stack up.
