He won all of those submission fights after mercilessly pounding his opponents and allowing them to make stupid mistakes. It looked alot like Ed v Danny except that the fights were good.

You can't judge a fighter just by how he ends the fights...

well, actually you can but then you end up wrong.

Thank you for the lesson master. I am now enlightened. A submission is a submission no matter how it is achieved. A pure ground and pounder is someone who wins by beating someone unconscious , untill the ref stops the fight or untill the bell rings because they have no real grappling or submission knowladge. I would expect someone "who competes" to know that. Maybe you should take more time and really think before trying to make me look like an ass next time.

I'll give you an A for effort though.

If you're saying that the ends justify the means then sure, whatever. But watch his fight with Rory, because clearly you posted this before.

He grounds and pounds and lets his opponent squirm until he gets a submission. This fighters that he's been fighting are too good in the guard to be TKOd easily, so he just hammers them with elbows until they give him some ground.

I guess you missed the part where we were mixing martial arts.

LOL. You just described a fighter who mixed the martial arts.

Another good try.

That's the point. All of these finalists are mixed martial artists. They all can submit people and KO people.

Anyway, I'm confused about who's arguing what at this point.

Either way, Ed is going to win this season of TUF in the middleweights. He's not even representing team Shamrock at this point, he's repping team Quest.

I agree. On all counts. I think that it is a case of someone elses ignorance causing an argument between two people that actually know something about the sport.

No harm, no foul.

Back to the real MMA subjects.
