Yep I agree with OP - Amir is really impressive IMO. He just seems so calculating with every move. He watches, weathers the storm and then strikes. I hope he wins it all.

I dig me some Amir. Dude has got some potential although people will doubt him since he was losing his fights till he caught them.

The knee to the liver might have been why Matt was gassing. It was pretty obvious that he was hurt badly from it, he even admitted it later on.
Also, if you look at Matt's record, the dude almost always loses via submission.

I remember saying the same things. Even before the season started I had Amir as my dark house and compared him to Grey Maynard in the account of how their UFC careers will trurn out; Both are inexperienced, get far in TUF, but not win it, go to a good camp, and be a serious threat to the division. I actually remember going on a website that announced fighters, http://mmajunkie.com/news/3621/amir-...-fighter-7.mma, where Amir was ridiculed anywhere from being inexperienced, to having a middle-eastern name, to looking like an american idol contestant. Almost everyone said he was going to be a horrible fighter and was just their for entertainment purposes. I tried telling them to not judge him so quickly and that he would due really good on the show, but noone believed me. I guess the jokes on them. BTW I'm also now officially on the Amir Sadollah BandWagon.

pretty fighters always get ripped on, fortunately he seems to have a sense of humor about it. The most likeable fighters seem to be the ones who don't take themselves too seriously, apart from their training.

I've been driving the Bandwagon since his first fight.
Who knows, maybe he can pull yet another upset

Props to my little bro to be on Amir's bandwagon right from the beggining. I guess I didn't see the light until now. 2-3 years from now, wioth proper training, Amir will be a beast!!!

Damn they were really ragging on him on mmajunkie. I bet they all feel pretty stupid now. I knew he would do well because I have sparred with him. He has really good Muay Thai. He generates a lot of force in his kicks. They were all calling him like the next Bowman, Im thinking he is going to be more like the next Forrest.

I dig me some Amir Sa-dollar-balla. Dude reminds me of Forrest during his first season of TUF. He has that quirkiness about him, dude is a funny cat. He's a good fighter, too.
