Maybe it was video games that they weren't allowed? There was one episode a few seasons back where they were playing video games, but I haven't seen a game system in the house since. The pool table (they have a pool table right?) and the pool are a step in the right direction but these guys tend to have a high level of intensity and Spike is trying way harder than they need to to set the stage for explosions. i.e. no TV, but truckloads of booze? That's another reason trashing the house is so boring by now, it's predictable beyond belief.

If they had board games and game consoles, there would be many more fights.

True. I think the video games was for a special kinda treat. I can't remember seeing a pool table this season but they might well have one & just not showed much of it.

They should be given something. There will always be interaction with that many people in the house so I imagine giving them books & video games it wouldn't stifle the opportunity for footage too much.

Haha, all the footage of people leaning off their chairs, tongue hanging out.

I think they give them cards, but who wants to play cards all day?

You can do surprisingly well with card. Who makes the dinner, who cleans the bathroom etc. I used to have tournaments with my old flat mates, things used to be hilarious. Cleaning the cooker, then it goes to double or quits where the dishes or laundry can go on the line.

hehe u guys, a cooker is english/scottish for a stove and oven
Or the dudes have laptops with dvds under their beds eewwwww

I'm surprised horrible fights haven't broken out over cards. my husband has two friends who haven't spoken to each other in 6 months or so b/c of a poker fight. (no fisticuffs, but it was a principle I guess).

That fight was awesome. I wish we could've seen them fight in the cage.
