And yet he's had the most difficult opponents of anyone else on the show.

Yea he has. Not because of Matt Brown who is pretty horrible but Gerald is better than anyone CB faced. Nick Klein is a solid fighter but Gerald is better.
However CB is a much more talented fighter than Amir. He is a better wrestler and he has solid stand up and a solid submission game.

Matt Brown is a better fighter then both Klein and Cale, I'm sorry but Kleins half ass submission attempts were not impressive even if he almost caught CB in a few, dude has nothing else and is garbage as a fighter, as is Brown but I'd give a slight advantage to Brown as far as skill set. In fact Steve Byrnes is also better then both Klein and Cale and Amir had to fight him just to get in the house.

Matt Brown has some of the worst submission defense. He's lost 5 of his 6 fights by submission. Now I agree with Steve Byrnes however Amir hasn't once looked good in any of his fights. He looked Ok against Brown, looked bad against Gerald, and looked bad against Byrnes.
Facing solid fighters and having average performances doesn't impress me.

I disagree. Beating solid fighters is impressive. Solid fighters have a tendency to make their opponents look average. He still managed to win the fights and he has had the hardest road of anyone in the house thus far. I like Amir, his stand up is pretty good, he doesn't take himself to seriously and he finds ways to win fights. However, I don't think he can beat CB because I don't see CB having a problem taking him down and controlling him.
It seems that the UFC knows who they want to win before the season starts latley. Why not just give CB a contract in the UFC instead of having him fight below average guys to get in? Everyone there was on his nuts from the beggining, especially Dana. I guess they put him on the show to make people dislike him and tune into his fights to watch him get a beatdown.

Actually I think the plan was to have a very talented group on this season of TUF since they tried to get both Jacare and Jake Rosholt two of the best MMA prospects in MMA's short history. Jacare's BJJ would be the best of anyone in the whole UFC and Rosholt has the best wrestling resume in MMA. CB was supposed to be the third best fighter on TUF but Jacare and Jake wanted to much money.
No doubt beating them is impressive but the way he beat them didn't impres me. His stand up is pretty good I agree but his ground game isn't. In fact I would say it's average at best.
I would say Amir would struggle in the UFC MW divison against almost anyone. But if they send him to WEC to get some expierence i think he could be a solid fighter.

Man, I think Amir has all the raw talents to be great. I agree though, the dude needs a lot more experience and a strong camp. You are totally undermining his performance since the guy has 0 pro fights and he's made it to the semi, that is impressive by itself.
Amir is stylistically the best match-up for CB, the only reason why CB said he's dangerous is because he's worried about getting caught like Gerald. Besides, Amir's TDD is not horrid, like Dante's was much worse. Amir's really good during the scramble.

For a guy with no fights he has been very impressive but that's not what I'm looking at. I'm looking at as a fighter ATM he is a good stand up guy with below average wrestling and a average ground game. His stand up ATM is good but not good enough to keep him in the UFC right now.
He needs a ton more expierence and could end up being an average UFC fighter.
But how will he beat CB if he couldn't stop Gerald from taking him down.

I agree. I think Amir would get tooled by almost anyone in the UFC MW division at the moment. They should really put him in the WEC and let him get a couple of fights under his belt and then see where he is at.

Lets just see how he does against CB.
I predict that he will put up a good fight at the very least. He will not get worked as bad as the last guy did.
Just my prediction here.
