Bottom line is Jesse had control to keep himself out of certain situations......he chose not to. he chose to drink. alot. and i really dont wanna hear how all these other fighters do it. all i know is that if i had the opportunity of a lifetime i would do everything in my power to not mess it up. but thats just me. obviously jesse felt differently. and i actually liked jesse, i found him very entertaining on the show(albeit an idiot), although his fights left something to be desired.

and if it werent for a few of the guys holding him back, he more than likely would have gotten kicked off the show when jeremy called him a jew.

Nobody's debating that Jesse did wrong, he messed up and now he's paying for it but TBH I think it would have been better for the show to keep him.

Perhaps they could have fined him all the prize money he won on the show and told him he's fighting for free at the finale but still let him have his shot at the contract, after all he earned it by winning those fights.

I feel sorry for Amir in all of this, he went out there as the underdog in all of his fights and pulled out upset after upset and now he's fighting not only someone he already beat but the favourite to win the show.

nofxrhcp has a little shameless behaviour in the past
I think Jesse should be in the finals. He acted like a idiot but he broke a window of a limo he rented and probably had to pay for. In my eyes Amir is the winner regardless now.

I think people fail to realize he's not just kicked out because of what he did, although it did play a big part, he's also kicked out because, like Dana said he's just not ready yet. He's not even a UFC fighter and he's yelling it out and harassing people over it. Can you imagine his behaviors if he wins the show and becomes a UFC fighter and starts to make serious money. I don't know where his head is today but from what we saw on the show (recorded a few months ago) I have to agree with Dana. Dana was saving him from himself!

The dude didn't fight anyone or get violent and yes, he would have been arrested. They would have said so on the show if anything of that occurrence happened and they wouldnt have brought it to him so gently if he got VIOLENT for christ sake.
We don't know what he did. People commit actions that are illegal and don't get charged ALL the time. It depends on who they are, where they are, if others involved want to press charges. Nobody is saying he was necessarily violent but it easily could have been more serious than "hitting on some girls and getting obnoxious". We need more detail to make effective judgement.

You are right that other UFC fighters have done things just as stupid (or stupider) than Jesse and not been kicked out. The conclusion I draw from that isn't that Jesse should stay, I think the others should go. I'd be perfectly fine with Leben and Guillard getting the axe too.

For me the issue is Dana is sending a mixed message. Okay, it's fine to totally destroy this house and behave like complete apes. But then get kicked off for the same kind of behavior out of the house.
I know the two are different, and why they are, but if Dana really wants class acts he shouldn't let half the stuff go on in the house that does. They start to think it's acceptable behaviour for a UFC fighter, afterall Dana didn't have a problem with it.
But if he did, the rateings wouldn't be as good.

I just wish the final ended up Tim and Amir. I am not looking forward to watching CB lay down on top of Amir for 15 minutes and eeking out a decision.

Its very different, they were told they could destroy the house (if they wanted to), they were also told to act proffesionally in the casino and in the vegas clubs. Its not just about the limo, its also about his attitude in the clubs.

Like last time they fought and Amir submitted CB?

Don't feel too badly for Jesse Taylor...Dana said "give me a call in a few months..." He hasnt had the door closed on him, and with the reality show and the name that people will remember, plus a story to market "JT cleaned up his act etc" He is pretty much GUARANTEED a contract by the end of this year/beginning of the next.

No doubt it will be a shock to his system, but more than likely give him some focus. Regardless of his drunken actions, he has obviously committed himself to a strict regime of training to even get on the show in the first place.

This is the show that helped launch UFC into mainstream audiences and you want some putz like that winning the show? He is a ******* knob who can't control himself when he drinks. Dana said he isn't ready yet so maybe in time he will go to AA or something.

How is this mixed messages?

When they are on camera, ie. on the TV show, then they can be goofballs. They can do stupid pranks on each other and the like... thats all fine, its TV.

But when they are NOT on TV... then they gotta behave normally. They dont get special privileges to be jackoffs *everywhere* they go because they do so on TV.

Apparently JT did not understand the difference between 'TV' and the real world.

Also... regarding 'watching CB lay down on top of Amir'...
What do you think JT was going to do?
I think you need to rewatch Jesse's prior bouts and remind yourself 'HOW' he got there.
