In Serra's defense, I'd have to say he's probably one of the best cornermen you could ask for. Screw the viewer, the cornerman is for the fighter, and you can't ask for much more than Serra. He obviously has his favorite little cues as you've already mentioned, but the guy is very effective. You definitely wouldn't have a hard time hearing him. He is a hell of a trainer, and his guys listen to him. Anyway, in response to the op, Rampage is the complete opposite of a cornerman like Serra. Rampage is more about being funny, thereby pleasing the audience, but he's relatively worthless to the fighter he's cornering. He'll keep me laughing through a whole fight, but that's not what he's supposed to be there for.
I have to add that I am a big fan of Serra's tendency to remind his fighter to breathe. I've caught myself not breathing before, and that's just not effective during a fight. It's nice to have that reminder.

Cameron Diffley. I think he just got his BB in BJJ. He's like a more tolerable Serra.

Rampage is pretty bad lol I could not hear him much during every fight. I think Matt Hughes was just as bad though...

Nah Shamrock was much worse. Rampage's coaches would have been very beneficial to the fighters.

To be fair Forrest wasn't really doing much more than Rampage, his words to Amir before his fight with CB were very good though I was impressed with that. The guy giving all the advice was Forrest's jits coach, take him away and there wouldn't have been much.

Yeah, as much as I like Forrest, he's not much of a coach either. I'd have to agree though, Rampage and Hughes are both pretty bad.

But yeah, Rampage was outcoached badly by Forrest in this show.

Still, Rampage is up on one-liners.

Wasn't his bodybuilder friend the IFL Sabre's coach? I can't remember his name, but they're buddies. I just can't take the musclebound fighters seriously.

It's definitly between Rampage and Shamrock man but I cant really say he's horrible he had his moments like when he helped CB out of the Kimura.

Top 7 Favorite Fighters at the moment

1. Forrest Griffin
2. Clay Guida
3. Shane Carwin
4. Jon Fitch
5. Chuck Liddell
6. Wanderlei Silva
7. Chris Leben
