maybe it comes down to ref opinion and the fact that one sub is in way deeper than another...i mean I'm sure that if the bone looks like its bout to snap the ref tries to get right in there...but i mean really it makes no sense if the dude goes to tap thats it(basically people are infering that the ref should look to determine how bad the submission is and the reality is when you tap(even if a split sec later u change your mnd...you still dmitted you were beat or you were gona lose...fight over) you tap....once you initiate the tap your saying i give up..if within a split sec later you feel like you can get out too bad...you tapped...

Yeah, well I guess no one is really to blame then, if he's taking the blame. Case dismissed.

It didn't break but I'll bet CB's arm hurts and will for a couple weeks, he was not defending that arm bar at all, just pulling upwards and straightening it out which made it even worse. Not the worst arm bar I've seen but it didn't look fun!

So CB tapped once reconsidered and tried to defend. When the fight was stopped he was upset because he didn't know the rule who is that being a crybaby?

Watch his postfight interview he's very respectful of Amir.

And on another note calm the f*ck down. CB thought the stoppage was unfair in the heat of the moment he got up and was upset with it why is that being a cry baby.

Also have you seen a tap. The fighter doesn't take his time he taps three times quickly. And also he was in an armbar if he was in that much pain he could've easily verbally submitted.
That I didn't know. I was just watching the replay ( I missed the live show because of a party) and I was just so amped for Amir. On top of that, I hated CB's tude since the show started. So after seeing CB protest, I felt he was sort of raining on Amir's parade a bit. But my hat's off to CB for being respectful after being in the heat of the moment.

He deserved to lose for his lame white sunglasses and the fact that he lost the first time by an arm bar. What kind of moron loses twice to the same guy with the same submission? Not a smart fighter. I'd send him packing! What a d bag!

Don't forget that Steve Mass is quickly proving himself to be one of the worst refs in MMA.

Every time I go back and watch a previous fight that he had reffed, he looks worse and worse, particularly the Lesnar Fight.

You keep saying it could be a slap or trying to grab something, that is a straw man. Is that what CB did? Was he slapping or grabbing? No, he was tapping, it couldn't have been more clear. Fighters tap multiple times to make their intent clear but one tap can easily be enough if the ref is paying attention as he was here.

He changed his mind. He tapped and then decided he didn't have to tap but too late. Next time he'll know better but that was a fine stoppage.
