Vinicius Magalhaes to appear on TUF 8

Multiple sources have informed FiveOuncesOfPain.com in recent days that light heavyweight prospect Vinicius “Pezao” Magalhaes will be a part of the eighth season of “The Ultimate Fighter” reality television series on Spike TV.
Magalhaes, whose nickname “Pezao” means “Bigfoot” in Portuguese, is 2-2 with one no contest according to Sherdog’s fight finder. He trains out of Team Quest in Temecula, Calif., where he also serves as a trainer.
A native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Magalhaes is a Royler Gracie jiu-jitsu black belt who has competed in several top-level grappling events. While competing for the Professional Submission League, Magalhaes reportedly recorded a victory against renowned Abu Dhabi champion Robert Drysdale, who incidentally is slated to serve as an assistant coach on TUF 8.
