But if the Henderson/Bisping fight is in December of next year. Will they still both fight in the meantime? That's a looooong layoff, more than a full year. And if its for the #1 contender spot, I hope the UFC will allow other number one contenders to shine before that. Do they expect Anderson Silva to not defend his title for over a year after he beats Cote? I would find it odd as he is the #1 fighter in the world and he just recently asked Dana White to make him fight more. Also Silva already mentioned he's not interested in having a title shot at 205 before Lyoto, he says that title belongs to Lyoto.

I don't agree at all, he's got an excellent skill set to beat Anderson with, and he was executing for a round, then started to bang in round 2 and his shit fell apart from there.

Executing a good GnP game plan is an excellent way to beat Anderson, alternatively, someone with world class jiu jitsu, but who also has good takedowns and can take a punch en route to the takedown would probably also have a good chance.

A standup battle with Anderson is just a stupid choice by anyone at 185.

not a chance, he may have been in the UFC for longer, but his biggest win is probably Leben and I dont see anyone else he has beaten even close to a contendor. Hes fought big names but has looked like a joke in there with guys like Franklin or even Okami. Palhares has a great record and put up a hell of a fight of a fight with Henderson. That being his first high quality opponent he looked damn good and would wreck J mac anyday. The only thing J mac has proved to me is that he will never been as good as the top of the field. Palhares should in his last fight that he is new but is definetly a top fighter.

Well, he didn't GnP Silva, he LnP Silva. He didn't do any damage. He stayed on top of him threw a few weak strikes, and put his hand on Silva's mouth. That's it.

The problem is that every round starts standing, and you have you take Silva down every round, and that's not easy. He didn't want to stand with Silva, he wanted to take him down but he got caught.

I don't want to see another Silva-Henderson either. Anyway, I don't think any MW has the tools to beat Anderson Silva. But we could get a fun fight with Bisping or Melvin Manhoef, if the UFC signs him.

As far as I remember, Hendo had double underhooks and still couldn't drag Silva to the ground... And Hendo is an olympian greco guy!

I think that if you wanna take down Anderson, do it quickly as a surprise attack or else he's gonna defend it.

Well ill say it - why the hell dont they have Marquadt as the Coach?, I am a fan of Bisping but i dont think he is ready for the likes of Henderson or Marquadt just yet.
It would make more sense for "The great" and Hendo to be coaches.
