Just like Dana said about the alcohol, they're grown men and they should be allowed to have a few drinks. I dont think they put it there for the reason to get guys drunk and kicked off the show. Some of the fighters need to act their age and not like a 14 year old getting drunk for the first time.

I've come to understand the idea with unlimited amounts of alcohol in the house, it really shows you who's mentally stable and who isn't. However, in Junie's case it wouldn't matter much, because he can't behave with or without alcohol. Does anybody here not agree that he's the worst psycho of all TUFs combined?

As someone mentioned already, it shows good character on Soszynski's, Bader's and the guy who got cut's part, and also Escudero's, that they kept their cool when Browning flipped out.

And that other little guy who started acting tough after he got to smell a wine glass... It felt really good to see him tap out to the same guy he tried to push around. What a loser...

I think it is stupid because it doesn't measure what they claim it measures. It measures their ability to deal with social isolation which has no bearing on MMA. I like the idea of the show, of seeing the training, the general format. The only thing that really bothers me are some of the rules of the house.

It allows them to see how people can handle pressure. I don't see how you can argue that.

If they think that 6 weeks in a house is too much, then they aren't ready to be in the spotlight 24/7.

What rules would you allow? Books, TV, Leaving to go out when ever you feel like it? Wow, that would be a great TV show to watch.

great point. I think this gives the UFC a chance to see who can quickly adapt and adjust to succeed...

and just like you said, if 6 weeks in a mansion is too much... then there's no point in even hiring that person...

When I worked at a restaurant as a teenager... the manager used to tell some of the guys who couldn't handle washing dishes "if you can't wash dishes, what are you gonna do when you get in the real world?"

I would ad a work out Gym at the House, maybe a few treed-mills and what not maybe a nice basketball court or something like that, things that would help them blow steam and at the same time stay healthy--- Books wouldn't be bad either--- they have a real nice pool and Jacuzzi, pool table---

I do hate it when they destroy the house--- it just makes no sense---

I have no problem with practical jokes that are harmless, like the wrapping the beds and clothing, I thought that was pretty funny---

I can come up with a million practical jokes that are funny and harmless---

I also do not believe having alcohol or not in the house would make a dime of a difference, they are NOT little kids no more, they are adults.

I'm an adult and I still manage to cause trouble if there's alcohol around. Just a little though. and i don't have a pool I can jump in.

How would it harm the show if they were allowed to phone people, read books and watch TV? I never said anything about leaving, nice straw man.

Because then the whole show would be boring clips of phone conversations, watching TV, and reading books. You have to admit, it is a lot more entertaining to see them interact with each other rather than keep to themselves and watch tv/read books. They've got plenty of stuff to do at the house, play pool, play basketball, go swimming, diving, etc.
