Mir didnt call him out on it, he just asked him where he got it. I'm sure he asked Vinny too.

Frank Mir comes across to me as one of those guys at the gym that tries to act like an elitist towards people who have strengths in the same areas as him (the ground). He's a BJJ black-belt, so he's cynical of others, almost seems like he's defensive about his status as a good practitioner.

So Junie gets quite far. That sucks. 145 at 6'3 is mental.

I change my position on Roli Delgado...I was being too hard on the brotha originally.

Like Soszynski said "Roli Delgado came to scrap" and looking back on that entire fight, he indeed did fight his ass off......he just had no established game plan ( something every BJJ practioner should develop before a fight)

Roli has good potential in WEC, but I think he doesnt have the explosiveness and star power for UFC.

Exactly, it also seems to me that Mir gets way too threatened by people who are in the same league with him as far as BJJ goes. Dude kinda needs to grow up.

Not really. He clearly admits his bjj isn't the best in business even if he is a black belt. That is why he brought a guy with better bjj (Drysdale) with him to show and trains with guys like Eddie Bravo to improve his arsenal even more.

I think the editing etc. is making Mir look like a douche in the show, he is pretty humble and respectful guy usually.
I don't think at all that he is threatened by other black belts, specially if the only reason to think that is because he was curious and asked someone where he got his belt from.
