Ok let me get this straight. He's had one fight, against arguably the very worst fighter in the house. He threw leg kicks that put him off balance, and had terrible punches. All this and you seem to be suggesting that he is even close to becoming a complete fighter?

I want to see Vinny vs Eliot both have Mundials level BJJ and a ground battle would be amazing.
Vinny has potential but he needs to grow as a fighter.

UFC CHIC, not that I care if you use caps or not, but you need to learn how to act with the other members. People are giving you advice and you are just being rude. Also there is a multi-quote button for a reason, use it and stop making posts within a minute or two of each other

Vinny has world class BJJ, he has a hell of a shot to win it all.
Even if h doesn't, he has a great future ahead of him. Someone will teach him how to box.

As I said 3 times now. No big deal. I will stop. I do it because I am multi-tasking, but I didn't know it was that big a deal. No harm meant...damn

I get the point, now can you all move on to something else rather than worrying about my caps, and being rude. I ain't trying to be rude at all. Just proving a point/opinion. I can read a few that are being rude though toward me. If I have been rude it's nothing more than a reply to someone being rude to me, so I am hoping someone has called them out for the same...Thanks!

I am taking that advice from others into consideration, as I can't say who will win honestly. I have had people being rude to me as well if you look close enough. Anyhow I apologize. I was only using CAPS due to multi-tasking. Also, what does me posting every few minutes have anything to due with this forum at all? Just wondering???? Thanks

You don't go and win several bjj championship without having sick bjj. He is freakin 23 years old too, that to me equals huge potential. We have yet to see how well he can transfer that sick bjj to mma though, because there is world class bjj black belts like Matt Serra whose bjj is defensively nearly flawless, but doesn't get enough support from his wrestling skills to be as effective offensively.

Vinny has the potential to be a real contended at LHW, once he starts to improve his wrestling and striking I could honestly see him with the belt one day. He's like Maia at lhw

Exactly. When I watch TUF I don't only try to guess who wins the show. Im trying to match up the potential winners against top 10 guys of their weight class at the same time, and Vinny is by far the guy with most potential.
He needs toget rid of the gun shyness though, because toss him a guy like Wandy, Rampage Shogun or even Liddell and they will seriously kill him. Imagine him in say 3 years with some hardcore wrestling and kickboxing training though, scary eh?
We'll see can he win the show though, he has the tools for it, but that gunshyness can be his downfall.
His standup isn't that bad either though, his leg movement was pretty nice and he wasn't flat footed like at all on that fight. He was being too evasive though which made it boring. Really hoping that he wins though, because he does have most potential.

Vinny doesn't have more potential then Bader not at all. Bader is an all american wrestler who has already rounded out his striking and submission game. Vinny isn't Maia in BJJ. He was never that good.

Ok I just watched the whole episode as opposed to just the fight (when I made my first post in here). Vinny does have some great BJJ. He's more a trickster than anything it seems (he pulls silly crazy shit no one looks for) and thats the reason for the gogobar, I guess. But my point still stands that I wasn't impressed by his fight at all. Like a lot of the others were saying, he may have sick as **** BJJ but that does not translate to MMA at all in his case. Eliot will beat him IMO.
