Jules didnt stand a chance.....

After lasts nights performance against Vinny last night, it was clear and evident Jule Bruchez didnt stand a chance. Bruchez's bio states he is a black belt in karate and a judo student...hmmm...interesting. Last night he looked more like an amateur boxer against Vinny Magalhaes. I know Jules has some power behind that punch, but a black belt needs to throw at least one kick (add some versatility), rather than relying on a Mike Tyson ko punch against a man who is on his way to becoming a BJJ master.

Team Nog gotta step it up.

I wasn't really understanding what the dude was doing. Everytime he brought his hands back up to protect his face, he would open up his hands. It was like you can hear him thinking "Okay, bring your hands back up now." I don't know, he definitely didn't seem like he belonged in the ring. I was kinda happy after watching the fight he had to get into the house, dude was alittle too impressed with himself.

He looked scared shitless, which made him afraid to commit to any kind of an attack. Seen it too many times, especially in boxing.

I have no idea how Jules got on the show really, even if he "didn't have to throw a punch" in his first fight.

as I watch this fight again I realize something that really put Jules back, a fundamental part of boxing....

he didnt jab and move, or throw any fakes.

he just held his arms halfway up and paced around like a child in a trance

He just completly flopped, compared to the fight to get into the house this was the total opposite, he was too afraid to engage in case he got taken down and didn't do anything, he didn't have his legs with him and nerves got the better of him.

it's because when he got in there he realized the guy he was fighting was a beast and so much more athletic, I think his gameplan went from win to don't die really fast.

I honestly cant believe that Jules is one of the 16 best light heavyweights the UFC can find. I just cant believe that. There has to be 205 pounders at gyms all over the country that are far superior to him, he is not a good fighter at all.
