Vinny's BJJ is excellent but honestly it's becoming overrated. He's not as good as the top grapplers who have been coming to MMA recently like Maia, Jacare, Gracie, Garcia, and Ribeiro.
I wasn't saying its that well adabted to mma (yet) or in any other way saying he is a "complete" fighter yet. I wont keep arguing does person X have better bjj than him or not, lets just say there isn't many mma fighters specially in his weight class with as good or better bjj than his, specially guys as young as he is.
His stand up isn't that bad at all technically even though alot of people keep calling it bad. Take a look at footwork of some "good" strikers that are already in ufc and his is much better already. Fix the gunshyness, improve headmovement and improve his combos to set up take downs easier and he'll be ready atleast for some undercard fights in ufc.
He is 9 years younger than Nog and 6 years younger than Arona, which is why I think he has potential
to become even more awesome than Nog if he keeps training his weaknesses and mma overall. I just don't see anyone else in the show with as much potential, even if guys like Krzysztof could prolly fight in undercard fights in ufc already.
