I feel bad that Noguiera is even associated with this.

The entire season has been a bunch of beeped out destruction, tonight I've watched 10 minutes and I've seen people ingest piss and ejaculate.

How in the **** can Dana say EliteXC was so terrible for the sport, then feed this to an audience with a straight face? This is like an episode of Ren & Stimpy. You want the sport to be taken seriously? Try controlling your own product before you tell others how bad theirs is.
Last night was an absolute low point in civility, class and the presentation of these athletes. It's also a direct contradiction of what's being presented on MMAFacts.com. I realize Spike TV has to get edgy in order to get ratings, but this is beyond the pale. They trap bored young men in a house, fuel them with alcohol to their hearts' content, encourage them to find ways around their boredom but do not mind when these fighters act in such a way as to cause revulsion to anyone with any sense of decency. And this is an improvement over the genial Kimbo Slice?

I'm done with it. Call me when the finale is on.

I actually forgot TUF was on last night after watching the WEC card but flipped over to Spike right as the Noyer fight came on- which basically the only thing I want to watch on this show. I started to watch the re-air when the whole piss/semen crap starting happening and changed it immediately. I agree with the author of this article- this show does not interest me at all anymore other than watching the fights. It's been awhile since I was in Jr. High school and I have no desire to watch something with a lower maturity level than that.

Unfortunately for us, the common people will not watch an episode where you see the fighters exclusively training and doing random stuff.

They show the highlights, and you would do the same if you had to get the ratings to keep your show airing.

Business is business, as far as the image goes, those guys are not signed with the UFC yet, it is a reality show, and it showcase individuals. Watch the other reality shows, its all the same BS. I dont see what is worst in this case.

I just record it. Then after it ends, I ffwd past all the 'reality drama' bs... until the actual fight at the end.

Tried to watch all the lead in stuff once... couldnt stomach the show.

It is gross, but I think that's what they have to do to keep the casual fan watching. Would I rather them just show the training and the fights? Of course I would, but I don't think that would keep the average viewer watching. I don't get why people who aren't even in the UFC yet are made to be like the spokespeople for the sport.

I'm all for pranking here and there. The itching powder, whilst potentially dangerous, was somewhat funny. The make-shift grave was clever and entertaining. That said, while I don't claim to be Captain Maturity, I don't think that I could knowingly allow someone to ingest urine and/or semen. I know that these fighters should not be stealing food, but what happened to the days where you'd load something up with hot sauce or laxatives so as to get revenge? Semen and urine just seem a tad overboard given the equally as effective alternatives.

I agree to some extent but they are on a UFC sponsored show and all trying to get into the UFC while being training by UFC fighters, at the UFC training center and under the eye of Dana. They may not be full-fledged UFC fighters but they do represent the UFC while on the show- for good or bad. Either way they also are representing the sport to new and casual fans. I don't expect training/fighting shows or choir boys that fight but they could try and borrow from the Contender and show more about their backgrounds, families and why/how they got into fighting. I understand keeping some of the low-brow stuff in but each season it gets worse and worse.

I agree with these because honestly what is left? A dude crapping in another guy's bed? Doodie- fights?

I think its entertaining. I accepted a long time ago that the show's goal is to entertain, not to find the best fighter. Coming from that angle its very enjoyable imho. I also think maturity has nothing to do with piss or jizz and your ability to find humor in them (or lack thereof)

Everybody good, plenty of slaves for my robot colony?
