which tuf produced the best fighters

so as the title says which tuff has been the best?

I would have to say 2 with 1 being a close 2ed

Well TUF 1 produced the LHW champ and that is the UFC's top divisions arguably, it also gave use Ken FLo and Diego and KOs who are title contenders Swick was a MW title contender for a while too. Leben is a solid fighter or would be if he can sort himself out so.

2 is close in realm of talent but the law of diminishing returns as well and trurly kicked in with regards to TUF

1 easily, its really not even close. There is like 1-2 good guys per other seasons, out from season 1's cast like half of the fighers ended up fighting in ufc atleast once (most are even highly ranked on their divisions now).

TUF 1 had Chris Leben, Alex Karalexis, Kenny Florian, Josh Koscheck, Diego Sanchez, Nathan Quarry, Stephan Bonnar, Mike Swick, and Forrest Griffin. TUF 5 had Emerson though, so TUF 5 wins.

Rashad came from the second one.

The first two were the best. keith and rashad are probably the best that came from the second one. forest mike and ken flow came frome the first. leban and diago I am not too impressed with.

if rashad beats forest then I will probably still say tuf 2 was the best but I guess 1 produced more top fighters.

Although its def season 1 or 2 (yes i like to sit on fences) TUF,3 was ridiculously weak and 4 was the the comeback, so most were never really going to reach the top.

But i dont think the guys from the seasons after that have had a chance to really grow as fighters yet. It was quite a while after season 1 and 2 that we really started to see those guys reach the top of their divisions. I mean forrest only became a true contender when he beat shogun, last year. Same with JArdine and Chuck. Rashad was nowhere near the top until he KO'd Chuck.
So in a few years i reckon alot of the lightweight series guys (think that was tuf 5) will really be pushing the top of their division. Guys like Maynard,Lauzon and Diaz, not a big fan of Manny but maybe him too.(haven't fogotten Emerson, its just unfair to class him amongst the other contestants.)

i believe that TUF 1 produced the best fighters as most of you have previously said, there are many reasons why this is true. Indeed the first season has produced many fighters that are now top contenders but i think it is mostly becuase theas the sport was still really on the rise as the first season was in the process. Forrest Griffin is a great champion and a tough competitor as well as a coach on the previous season. Ever since the first TUF he has been extremly popular, but it wasnt just the winners of TUF's first season that are recongnized but almost all of the fighters on TUF's first season are the heart and soul of resent day UFC, they are all huge names and great fighters... dreamcometrue
