Did Junie Browning throw that fight??

Mir mentioned Junie was familiar with that hold and purposely stayed passive to let Efrain execute it.

WTF is up with this dude?

That's exactly what Junie wants you to think (and probably believes himself). It's bullshit and why would anyone throw the semifinal fight to prove some bullshit point? I'm freakin tired of Junie thinking he is manipulating people when in reality, he just sucks. Don't believe any of his ******* hype, because really, that all it is ........hype. If Junie could have won that match, he would have.

I'm with you on that one. Junie so far in his last 2 fights has been all talk, and no walk. The first fight in the house, he didnt even come close to living up to his word of not letting it go past the first round, and he practically lost that fight. His second fight he did almost nothing. He landed a couple decent shots, but his takedowns were poor, and his TDD was poor as well. Personally Efrain looked better than him in all 3 phases.

I didnt see anything from Junie to make me think he'll ever be more than a regional fighter. No chance he ever lasts in the UFC.

From what I gather Junie failed to make weight again and the others had to help him before the fight. I can't remember which blog it was in now, but Junie apparently claimed he was "too tired" to follow Mir's instructions during the fight.

Not that Mir's three strike approach is going to revolutionise the business or anything...

Read some of Sekou's other posts and you'll see that he's just a troll, don't feed him it just encourages him.

While I think its dumb to scream "hit him 3 times every time" or even go with a stonecarved striking rule like that, it actually did work every time they did it. Unless you got clear reach advantage and are clearly a better striker (not just KO power, footwork, head movement, precision) its very unlikely you'll drop someone with a silly single jab (unless you are fighting Kimbo ^^) like Junie was trying to do.

"When I land that left hook, the fight will be over." -Paul Daley (He called it!)

good point....Junie isnt Vitor Belfort or Marvin Hagler

I watched the fight again....Junie was acting like Paulo Filho in his last fight against Sonnen.

Junie acted real stupid and disinterested.

Not taking away from Efrains skill, but Junie acted like he was daring Efrain to put that choke on him.

Maybe Junie was just smoking crack before the fight. That's why he gassed like two minutes into the first round, because his lungs were cashed from hittin' the pipe before the fight. If he doesn't win this next fight he needs to crawl back to his trailer with his tail between his legs.

Basically he's not as good as he says he is and he knows it. He's entered onto the show, thought he would walk it cause he's an arrogant idiot then gone oh sh*t I'm out of my depth. What is a scared, childish response to this emotion, well exactly what Junie is doing. Pretending he's not trying hard enough, saying if he was at home he'd walk TUF, explaining its only cause he can't be bothered that he loses.

He's so wrapped up in his own ego that he can;t bear the thought of losing and just admitting it like i man, so all the bullshit comes out of his mouth.

If he joins the UFC he will be a whipping boy and no doubt he'll keep on making excuses then.

He should keep his mouth shut win or lose and let his so called skills do the talking....oh wait they ain't.. He might beat Dave K but Dave K is cr*p to!

Ramon Dekkers (to me ... the best fighter ever) + Anderson Silva + Renato "Babalu" Sobral + Chuck Lidell + Peter Aerts + Forrest Griffin + Nick Diaz + Roger Huerta + Paul Taylor (get a ground game please) + Lyoto Machida + Gonzaga = LIGHTS OUT!
