I agree with this statement. The fight was almost so even you couldn't pick who won. So if he feels robbed its his own fault for not being able to stop Serra or make it more clear that he won, hopefully it motivates him to be better and end fights.

Neither fighter displayed any kind of dominance, I feel they should have gone to sudden victory.

who cares about sudden victory, after three boring ass rounds what makes anyone think that a 4th would be any different. it was obvious that serra was scared of getting ko'd and lyttle did absolutley nothing to give the judges any reason to give him a decision. In my opinion it was a shit fight with an equall shit ending but lyttle gets what he deserved for letting that little midget control him like that the whole fight.

Obviously you don't understand what the thread is all about, the question was not whether or not the fight was boring, I think that was quite clear as there was not any super action by either fighter. Therefore how could Serra have been awarded the match, I think that is what the debate is all about. If you want to rag on the so called shitty fight, start your own thread about how crappy you thought the fight was.

Split Decision
Help me out guys...how do two judges see the fight 30-27 for one fighter and the other judge sees it 30-27 for the other? That means 2 judges felt Serra won all three rounds and the other judge felt Lytle won all three rounds. What fight were these judges watching? No way either of those guys won all three rounds.

yeah i understand what the thread was about. the fact is neither fighter did anything to win so why i cant tell you that serra "won" the fight i also cannot say he lost it because he took no damage. all im saying is when you do nothing to win this is what you get and you cant really complain because if he had won the fight we would be having this exact same thread saying "Matt Serra was robbed"

I Agree!!!!!! Lytle was robbed!
I almost decided to give up watching the ufc after that fight. I tried to remain impartial during the fight, I am from indianapolis and I have met Chris, I actually watched UFC 64 with him at his mother in-laws house. Putting that aside Matt Serra had the foot stomps goin for him, but Chris pretty much showed the teacher that he would not be taken down to the ground easily, and if nothing else that he would take the teacher down. I think a draw would have been better than that decision.I think that Matt Serra is a great fighter but I think Chris would have a better shot at making the title fight worth watching. I think Matt Serra's going to get beat up no matter who has the title.

I was robbed
I watch a three round fight where both fighters would not take any risks or go for anything. I mean that fight sucked, it was like they thought they were in a 12 round boxing match, they certainly should have went for a little bit more.
