Yep, Matt won on footstomps alone.... right? He had one take down, Chris had one take down... Matt had one weak spinning forearm... Chris had several dozen slaps and hits, not major but he was striking Matt as he held Chris against the fence... The only think Matt did more often is foot stomps.... That's it. Dana White showed that the UFC is bogus... His friends get title shots and win split decisions. How long until Dana finally let's Diego Sanchez take a shot at the title? He's smashed everyone that's come his way.... But we have to wait until after Matt gets a shot at the title..? Come on!

Yea no shit, Lytle was hitting Serra in the face countless times. Just cuz he's not strong enough to push Serra off of him every 2 seconds doesn't mean he lost the fight. He was being offensive and defensive at the same time and Serra was only be offensive, but it was completely ineffective. Half those cheap ***** footstomps didn't even land it just sounded cool cuz he was doing it hard and making a loud noise. Lytle got robbed I'll say it till the day I die LYTLE GOT ****ING ROBBED!!!

**** that shit just cuz Lytle's not as strong and chooses not to win a fight via footstomps and leaning doesn't mean he lost the fight. Count how many times Lytle hit Serra compared to how many times Serra hit Lytle. Then count how many minutes Serra did absolutely nothing but rub his face on Lytle's chest. Then count how many times Lytle avoided the takedown. Lytle won this fight it was obvious if you watch it again and score it yourself. You shouldn't be able to win a fight just because you have more energy than your opponent.

Scoring in the UFC:

Effective grappling - draw
Effective striking - Lytle with his dozens of open hand strikes to Serra face and punches to the body of Serra the entire fight.
Aggression - Serra, Serra was aggressive while pushing him against the fence, but Lytle was aggressive when they were not against the fence. Serra was more aggressive in the fight though.
Octagon control - Draw, Serra did not have Octagon control because he wanted Lytle on the ground the entire fight...he couldn't get him to the ground and Lytle stayed standing like he wanted to, but they weren't separated like he really wanted. Therefore, since Serra couldn't get Lytle to where he wanted, and Lytle couldn't keep Serra where he wanted, neither had Octagon control. Neither were in control, Just because Lytle was against the fence, does not mean he wasn't in control.

This was a bullshit decision.

It was clear during the entire taping of the show that Serra was Whites favorite. He got all the air time and all the articles on the UFC website were about his triumphant return and they mentioned that he was fighting some guy named Chris from indianapolis. To win that fight Chris would have had to clearly dominate him which he didnt do well enough. The reason why Serras foot stomps were so loud is because they were hitting the floor and not Chris's foot, if they hit his foot they wouldnt have made any noise so that can't be the reason why he won, Serra basically got one takedown and couldn't do a single thing against Lytle. White has to know that people realize that the judges scores are rigged for the favorite. You could also tell that he was upset when Lutter won because hes boring as hell and he knows that if it would have gone to the score cards that cote would have won if it was even remotely close.
