TUF 4 was way to hug and kiss.
I donno if this has been posted yet but did anyone else get sick of everyone being so nice? I'm all for respecting your opponent but edwin dewees vs Cote they basically hugged each other and sell vs smith was a good fight outside of the gay shaking of hands after every punch.
Im just sick of it, this is supposed to be "ultimate fighting" not "ultimate being nice to each other and sometimes fighting".
Just my opinion.

I agree.....especially with the Smith/Sell thing.....I mean, yes it was a war, best fight of the night by far......and I know they are friends and thats ok too.....but its in the middle of the fight.....it was cool when Robbie Lawler and Chris Lytle did it back in the day.....but now everyones trying to mimic them

I agree, it was to much for me. I hate it when basketball players do it and players from other sports do it, but i really really hate it when its in mma. Athletes should want to kill eachother no matter what sport they're in. When your in a cage, court, rink, its war!

I thought it was great, an awesome sign of respect and no ill feelings, guys it's a "Sport" this isn't street fighting, street fighting has no rules.

I think it's fine, a little awkward. As long as they don't start making out or anything.

Touching gloves is way overdone nowadays. You know, it's not a cardinal sin to not touch gloves.
The whole "Punch *touch gloves* kick *touch gloves*" thing is annoying. Guys, you are here to fight, not play patty cake. It's MMA, not tiddlywinks.

Really?! I couldn't care less that Sell & Smith were touching gloves during the round after big exchanges. They're profesional athleates enjoying what they're doing not psycho killers. They knew they were putting on a great show an the fans weren't the only people pumped about it.
At the same time, I wouldn't want to see this tred start either. Maybe keep the love before and/or after rounds.

Where you see a sign of friendship, I see a time waster & a momentum killer. If I wanted to see guys get buddy buddy, then I'd watch Perfect Strangers. I don't mind fighters touching gloves in the beginning. But, to continuously do it, is annoying.
